Scared of Rejection

Ally's POV

I was walking to the cafétérias with the two couples. When I smelt it again strawberries and rain.

I looked around and saw a gorgeous guy. Drool worthy. He had dark brown hair with chocolate eyes, he was wearing blue not too baggy but not too skinny jeans that hung low on his hips. With white boxers that showed, a white t-shirt with a black leather jacket. He was so hot!!

He turned to look at me and he stared at me for what felt like hours. The two couples next to me left to go eat alone, wow guys I feel the goddamn love.

He started walking my way and when he stopped infront of me he was at least 6'3 towering over my 5'4 frame.

He looked down at me a whispered "mate"

I then got scared again and ran out of the cafeteria as fast as I could. But he's catch up to me soon.. being an alpha and all.

I ran into the woods and I was shaking in fear, why is my body doing this? I was so scared of rejection that it caused my reaction.

I heard someone walk up behind me and right away by the smell I knew who it was. He looked pained as if it hurt him that I had ran.. oh wait it probably did..

I felt tears run down my cheeks.. I don't even know why! But he pulled me into a bear hug with his arms wrapped all around me.

I continued crying into his chest, soaking his shirt and then I put my arms around his waist. He smelt so good and I felt so comfortable.

We stayed like that for a good 5 minutes before I composed myself.

After I stepped out of the hug he finally asked "What's wrong?" and his voice was deep and husky and sent goosebumps down my spine.

"I'm scared of rejection... " I answered in a small barely audible, but with werewolf hearing he heard.

He just pulled me back into his chest and started rubbing my back. "I would never reject you.. why would you think that?" he asked with worry.

"Because you could get anyone prettier than me, and someone who would be more fit for alpha female.."

He kept me in his arms and put his head in the crook of my neck and inhaled deeply.

"You are the most beautiful girl I've ever laid eyes on. It hurts to imagine any one else in your place next to me as alpha female because you're so perfect and I can't wait to get to know you." he said with a giant smile.

But I couldn't help but know that his power would get the best of him one day.. him being alpha and all he'd choose the pack over me any day and he'd be killing people and he could force me into anything he wants..

He saw my worries look and asked "babe what's wrong?"

"well for one) I don't know you do no calling me babe and for two) your stronger than me you can practically force me into anything.." I looked down after saying that

"Babe.. for one) I'm gonna keep calling you that cause it matches you and I like it and two) I would never!" he answered

"You don't know that what if one day you're pissed and you mark me or hurt me by accident?" I said

"I'd never mark you without your permission ever! and to hurt you? not in a million billion years! I'll hurt anyone who hurts you! I only want a chance to love you.." he said

I hugged him and he smelled so fucking good!! oh my god no one has ever smelt this good!!

We stayed there for a while just talking and getting to know each other better..
