Chapter 6

Skulls

 Collin, Brook, Lucy, and Angel were flying deeper and deeper in the woods. The sun was setting when they got to the middle of the woods.

"Right this way is the portal to Cry-." said Collin, but stopped.

"Don't move!" whispered Brook.

"But-," Angel whispered, but was cut off by Brook.

"DON'T!" whispered Brook strictly.

They all stopped and listened. They heard some low and growling noises. Past the trees were three creatures by the portal. The first one was tall, was black and brown, had long sharp fangs, and looked like a gaint snake. The second was small, was dark green, and looked like a goblin. The last one was medium height, a black cape, had a red face with black lines, and was like a human with bat wings. They were all sitting on rock, except for the snake. The human was sharpening a sword. The goblin has a bow and the snake, well, he has his fangs.

"How long until we can squish some butterflies?" growled the goblin.

"Thossse butterfliesss alwaysss take along time to get anywhere," hissed the tall snake. 

"Just what!" commanded the human. The human stopped sharpening his sword, stood up, and turned to Collin's, Brook's, Lucy's, and Angel's direction. Luckly Collin, Brook, Lucy, and Angel were hidden by the trees. The goblin stood up and turned to the same direction as the human. The snake turned the same way, too.

"I sssmell butterfliesss," hissed the snake. The snake's tongue was out and was moving around.

The snake hissed "One male and  two femalesss."

Collin gestured us to move back slowly. Brook got out her bow quietly and Collin got out his sword quietly, too. 

"Come out. Don't be scared," said the human, "We will not hurt you. We just want to talk to you."

Angel would have gave those creatures a piece of her mind, but she was just to scared to make a sound.

"They are getting farther away," hissed the snake. 

Angel stopped. She was looked right into the humans eyes. They were like other peoples eyes, but were yellow with red around them. The human was speaking to her with his thoughts.

"Come to me. Come to me, now!" the human thought.

Angel started to fly to him. She flew into the clearing and landed.  

"Ah, Princess. Come here." said the human. He smirk.

Angel stretched her arm out to him and the human reached his hand to her.  Collin reached out with one hand to grab her. She was fighting to get Collin off her when she looked back at the human. At that one look her vision got blurry. Then went black. She felt strong arms wrap around her as she fell. All she could hear was Collin's voice, Brook's voice,  and the human still thinking to her.

"Brook! Get moving NOW!'" yelled Collin.

"What was SHE doing?" yelled Brook.

"It was......him. The.......human. He was........telling........ her to....... come!" said Collin. 

"Come ON! GET UP AND FLY TO ME!" thought the human.

"Ugh!"

There was fast winds blowing past Angel. Then all went silent.

Angel woke up to find herself in a tree. She looked around her surroundings.

"WHAT?!?!?" yelled Angel. Her wings were gone! 

"WHAT! Were are my wings?" said Angel, "They were just there a minute ago!"

A gust of wind blew up. With that gust, Collin sat down on the same branch as Angel.

"How are you sweetie?" asked Collin.

Angel started to blush.

"When did Collin start calling me that?" thought Angel.

Collin lend for a kiss, when an arrow shot through him. He fell like a rock, falling down from the sky.

"NO!!" yelled Angel. She looked up to see who shot Collin. There flying was the human with the bat wings and Brook with her bow aiming at Angel.

"How could you do that to your brother!" yelled Angel. Angel's face was red with anger.

"No hard feelings. Ok?" asked Brook.

"No!" yelled Angel. She stood and slipped. She fell just like Collin, except she was not dead.

"AHHHHHH!" screamed Angel.

She hit the ground and all went black and silent.

"No!" whispered Angel.

Angel woke up to finding herself in a huge pink room. She opened one and then the other one.

"What?" whispered Angel. Angel sat up and looked around. The bed was huge, had many pillows, was pink, and had a big pink drape around it. She looked behind her to see if her wings were there. They were there.

"Collin! Brook! Lucy! Where are you guys at?" yelled Angel.

The door opened and a lady with brown hair in a white and black dress came rushing in. She had white wings.

"Yes Princess. What do you need?" asked the lady curtsying.

"Who are you?" asked Angel.

"I am Zoe, your Highness." said Zoe.

"Ok, but where is Collin, Brook, and Lucy?" asked Angel.

"Right away, Princess. I will send someone to get them," said Zoe. She rang a little the bell once. Then she rang it again. A man with blue armor and a sword at his side came flying in. He had gray wings. He bowed, then went over to Zoe. Zoe whispered something to him and he ran off. Angel looked at Zoe with a questioning look.

"I told him to get Collin, Brook, and Lucy for you," said Zoe, "Now you need to get dressed to meet the king and queen."

Zoe walked over to two gaint doors. She opened the doors and inside were many dresses of many colors, but most were pink. All were dress and were poofy. Zoe grabbed a nice, pink, and not so poofy dress.

"How about this?" asked Zoe walking up to Angel.

Angel reached out to feel it, but stopped.

"Are you sure these are my clothes?" asked Angel. She didn't not want to wear someone's else's clothes.

"These are your clothes," said Zoe, "Now go try this on. Tell me if you need help getting it on."

Zoe handed Angel the dress. Just then Collin, Brook, and Lucy came in.

"Collin!" said Angel. Angel hoped out of bed ran over to Collin and hugged him. Brook rolled her eyes and bowed.

"What happened? I don't remember anything, expect someone grabbing me! I thought you guys died!" said Angel.

Angel let go of Collin and Collin bowed. Collin and Brook were in golden armor and had their weapon at their side. 

"Now get dressed and lets go see the king and queen!" said Collin with a grin, "I will tell you on the way what happened."

"Ok!" said Angel with a smile.

"As long as you are ok." thought Angel.

Sorry if it didn't have to much action. At least you guys do understand what the Skulls are like and how the act. I hope you guys liked this chapter! :) I am writing as fast as I can. I wrote this chapter in two days! :) Tell me what you guys think and what should be in the next chapter.
