Haruki opened his eyes and instantly felt a heavy pain in his head and leg. He groaned and sat up. He looked around and he was in a room that wasn't familiar. Then he remembered what happened. He rubbed his head and felt a bandage. He got up,but almost fell because of the pain in his leg. He went to a mirror in the room and looked at his reflection. He had bandages around his head. He looked down at his leg and noticed he is in different clothes. He had shorts and a plain black t-shirt on. His knee was wrapped up in bandages as well. He heard voices coming from outside the room and he opened the door.
There stood the boy who was staring at him through the window. He was talking to another boy,but they both stopped when they heard the door open. They looked over at him. "Oh you're awake."the boy with those majestic blue eyes said. "Who are you? Where am I?"Haruki asked. "Oh...um....well I'm Ryou and you're in my house. This over here is Yuu. He helped me bring you in here"Ryou said pointing to the boy with gray hair and yellow eyes. Haruki glared at both of them. "Why am I here?" He asked. Both boys looked at him like he was crazy. "Because you're hurt and we are gonna help you"answered Ryou.

"I don't need help. I'm leaving . Where is my clothes?" He asked as he started looking around. "Woah,but your wounds aren't healed yet. You can barley stand"Ryou said going over to him. "You think I'm weak!?"Haruki yelled at him,glaring daggers at him. Ryou shook his head. "No,no of course I don't,but I'm just worried about a fellow citizen in help that's all" he said. Haruki looked at him and stepped towards him. "I don't need help from a..." Haruki stopped himself and turned away. He started searching again when once again he felt a pain in his leg and fell over. Ryou and Yuu both ran over to him. "Shit.."Haruki said as he passed out again.
Haruki once again woke up in the room,but this time Ryou was in the room with him. He was sitting on a chair,reading a book. Haruki went to get up,but he couldn't. He looked down and his hands were chained to the bed. "What the hell!? Let me go!"he yelled. Ryou jumped and looked at him. "Woah calm down. I told Yuu to chain your hands so you wouldn't try to leave again. Your injuries are to severe for you to just go wandering around."Ryou said. Haruki growled deeply and looked into Ryou's eyes. Ryou looked right back into his eyes. Haruki glared and turned away. ".....stupid bastard. You think you can keep me chained up,well you're wrong"Haruki said as he was about to break the chains,but again stopped himself.
'I can't use my powers here' he thought. He sighed and just laid there. "So what happened to getting out hm?" Ryou asked with a laugh. Haruki growled at him. His body tensed up when he felt something warm and fuzzy on his leg. "What the hell is that?"he asked. Ryou looked at him in confusion. He looked down at his leg. "Oh...heh sorry" he said as he grabbed a cute little kitten from the bed. He held it in his arms. "This is Zena. She is my cat. She loves everyone" Ryou said. Haruki looked at the cat with horror. Ryou saw his expression and tilted his head. "Wait....are you scared of cats?" He asked. "What!? Of course not!"Haruki yelled. Ryou smirked and started bringing Zena closer. Haruki started trying to move his head away. "Get that thing away from me!"Haruki screamed. Ryou laughed hard and put Zena outside the room.
"I can't believe you're scared of cats! I mean they are so cute! Who would ever be scared of such tiny innocent creatures?" Ryou asked. Haruki looked at him with shock. "Those things aren't innocent!! They are deadly bastards!"Haruki said. Ryou looked at him. "But why? What happened to make you scared of them?"Ryou asked. "Like I would tell you"he said. He turned his head away. "It was when I was younger..." he started. Ryou sat down again and listened.
*flashback to 8 years ago*
"Mom!? Where are you!?" Haruki yelled as he went through the forest by their tribe. He was walking with his mother until he chased after a butterfly and now he can't find her. "Momma!?" He yelled again. Then he saw something move in the bush. "Who's there!?"He yelled grabbing a stick and pointing it at the bush. A small cat walked out and sat down,wrapping its tail around its legs. ".....a cat? Go away. Come on scram" he said gesturing with the stick for the cat to go away. The cat titled it's head. Haruki turned into a dragon,but he was small back then(probably as big as a average 5 year old). He growled. "See I'm a terrifying creature who will eat you" he said. The cat didn't budge. He growled deeper. The cat then out of no where sprang towards him and started clawing his face all over.
*end of flashback*
"The stupid thing left me in bandages for days!" Haruki said angry. He left out the part about him turning into a dragon. Ryou looked at him and burst out laughing. "Oh my god that's hilarious!" He said as he could barley breath. He was holding his stomach and laughing really hard. "Shut up you bastard!" He yelled. Ryou wipes his tears away and sits down. "Sorry Sorry."He said. Haruki rolled his eyes and looked away. "You know..I told you my name....shouldn't you tell me your name?"Ryou asked. "No..I will not tell you my name." He replied. "What am I suppose to call you?"Ryou asked. Haruki shrugged and looked at the ceiling. "Take the chains off and I might tell you" he said.
"How do I know you're not gonna try leaving?" He asked. "Just do it"Haruki said. Ryou sighed and took the chains off with the key. Haruki sat up and rubbed his wrists. "Haruki....Haruki is my name" he said and then he laid down,facing away from Ryou. Ryou smiles big. "Wow thanks for telling me! Uh you get some rest...if you need anything just uh call for me"he said and left. Haruki scoffed and slowly closed his eyes. 'I'm escaping as soon as I can' he thought as he fell asleep.
Ryou sighed as he closed the door behind him. 'He seems....nice' he thought. He went out to the kitchen where Yuu was trying playing with a knife. "Dude if you cut yourself and get blood on my counter I will kill you myself"Ryou said as he got a drink. Yuu chuckled. "How is the new comer?"Yuu asked. "He is doing fine. I unchained him because I know he won't leave. And...his name is Haruki" Ryou said. "So he told you his name?" He asked. Ryou nodded. "Did you tell him how long he has been out?" Yuu asked. Ryou sighed and replied with "No...I feel he is gonna freak out if he knows he has been out for three days".
