"You lost me"
The last three words Prerna uttered before going away from Anurag. And he stood there holding Komolika's hand without realising his true love has actually gone.
Anurag was not mature enough when it came to relationships, and Komolika took advantage of it. She brainwashed him, filled his mind with ego.
Prerna, who was devasted, vowed to never cross his path again. She gradually distanced herself from the common friends. That day, a new Prerna took birth who emphasized on self love. But she was unable to realise that she still love Anurag.
While he had no idea, how much mentally she had suffered.
Both of them thought they will never meet again, but Destiny had decided something else for them. This was not the end of the story. Prerna misunderstood her love for hatred. Anurag thought he never loved her. But a reality check was still left.
