Gradually, Anurag and Prerna's bond grew stronger and stronger.
Lovers who got separated, met again, befriended and now were turning into best of friends.
But the love remained unexpressed.
Anurag was turning happy day by day, and for that Mohini Basu thanked Prerna.
College:
New semester has started, and Anurag, Sid, Prerna and Anjali hanged out together.
Whole college thought the star crossed couple is back and these four used to giggle at them because only they knew AnuPre were just friends but also only they knew in their hearts how much they still love each other.
Soon Sid and Anjali left for their respective homes, AnuPre decided to go to their favorite place, Howrah Bridge.
Howrah Bridge:
"Prerna yeh jagah aaj bhi bohot saari yaadein taaza kar deti hai. Life was already beautiful aur maine dekha hi nahi. Kaash uss waqt jaan leta ki kya sahi hai kya nahii.. Regret hamesha rahega!"
"You are right Anurag regret humesha rahega. Par life abhi bhi khoobsurat hai. Humne shayad pyaar kho diya par usse bhi anmol apni dosti ko bacha liya. Isse zyada khubsurat kya hai."
"Haan Prerna, mujhe ek aisi dost mili jo mujhe samajhti hai you know dost se bhi zyada best friend. I hope this friendship is forever?"
"Yeah!! It's forever!! Beautiful than love and more important"
"Indeed!"
And both smiled at each other.
Regretting in their hearts that they can't confess or they might lose this friendship too.
"Tumhe ghar drop kar dun?"
"Haan actually, thanks a lot!"
"Pagal shabd suna hai?"
"Haan, kyu?"
"Tumhare liye hi bana hai. Bestfriend ko koi thankyou bolta hai kya"
"Ohhh sorry haan!"
"Sorry bhi nahi bolte buddhu"
"Toh main apne shabd vapis leti hu Mr. Anurag Basu."
"Good Ms. Prerna Sharma"
While in car,
Prerna was busy looking at the sunset as the song plays:

Lo Tay Hai Ke Pyaar Nahin
Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin
Lo Tay Hai Ke Pyaar Nahin
Phir Bhi Nazarein Na Tum Milaana

"These lines are hitting so hard right now!" thought both of them together.
And the whole path they both were quiet.
"Bye Prerna! See you soon!"
"Bye Anurag"
"Suno"
And Prerna turned hoping he will again say he loves her.
"Bolo"
"Tum book bhool gayi.."
"Ohh"
Prerna's hopes got shattered.
And Anurag who actually wanted to say couldn't gather courage.

Author's Note:- Friendship is far more valuable then love and this was what I wanted to say in this chapter. We all at some point don't express ourselves just to save that precious friendship. I wanted to show how great bond did AnuPre share in form of friendship.
