They all sat at the dining room table, spoons stuck into their bowls of off-brand cheerios that they called "Crispy Oats".
Error sat, thinking about problems that he had yet to solve. Letting his Crispy Oats get soggy as he sunk deeper into his mind.
Error, like his brothers, had quite a few problems physically and mentally. He, out of the three brothers, had the most though.
Physically, he couldn't be touched or else he would feel, pain, as he likes to describe it. The burning sensation that rattled his bones and was the cause for most of his break downs. He would sob and shriek when he was touched with bare contact with another person. It would suffocate and torture him as he felt the burning fire that was only a light touch on his arm. For he had, Haphephobia, the fear of physical contact. This discouraged him form a lot of things like playing sports or dancing, and basically anything that had physical contact involved. One of them even being school, where there was always bumping, hitting, fights, and even the Romantic stuff like holding hands, or kissing. Error has never once been the type to fall in love, it was just the sheer sight that made him want to puke.
Another defect that held error back was the glitches that floated around him. They didn't do much but spark up and make a cloud if "errors" when he was touched. Sometimes the error's got so bad that he did something he called "crashing". When he would crash, he would basically be unconscious till someone that was nearby would hit reboot on the screen that would float above his body when he crashed, this all added to his name.
Besides physical problems, he had mental problems too, the blue streaks down his face were permanent tears that had stuck onto his face a long time ago when the... incident happened. That incident had scared him and the other two brothers for life. But of course, they're better now.
One of his biggest problems that he had to face soon, was the fact his brother, geno, was leaving soon for college. Which, is of course, a good thing in the way you look at it. Once geno is gone that means error would be the new ruler of the house. Which, again, doesn't sound bad right? Until you look at the 'brotherly' relationship fresh and error have. Error hates fresh, even on multiple occasions had snapped and tried to kill him when fresh was younger and didn't know better.
To say it bluntly, error is unstable.
Geno, the older brother, tries his hardest to try to get error to be happier. Geno, like any brother, should, just wants the best for both his younger brothers. Especially for error. Error for years had been put off from everyone even his own brothers. He doesn't want friends, he doesn't want to be changed, he just wants to be left alone.
Geno just wants error to make friends, he wants to know that when he goes that error will be okay with the right person to put him in place when he needs it. The longer geno pushes without any good results the more he loses hope in it. But despite his failed attempts, he still tries for all of their sakes.
Fresh himself, is a little nervous about being on his own with error. Error has never been the greatest brother, but fresh still tries to get on his good side as much as possible. Deep down inside, he still knows that it won't work.
The more both fresh and geno push, the more error gets distance from his brothers. Error knows this, but his wimpy ass is to stubbornly change his ways. He doesn't want to seem weak, so he approaches everything sourly, but he doesn't see that it's not working to help him.
He just looks like a total jack ass.
"What' cha thinking 'bout?" Geno asked while swallowing a spoon full of the Crispy Oats. Error jerked his head up to geno, not expecting to be talked to. "Nothing." Error said stuffing the last spoon full of his cereal into his mouth while getting up. He grabbed the bowl placing it into sink along with the rest of the piled up dirty dishes.
