*nine months later*

"Babe, you ready?" Kelly called from my bedroom.

"Yeah, let me grab my stuff," I told him as I stepped out of the bathroom.

Ok, let me explain what has happened these past few months. A few days after Kelly asked me to be his girlfriend, we went public and his fans were shocked. Some were happy and some were jealous. I got to start working again and it was so nice. Then 2020 hit. Just before the NBA season was canceled Kelly tore his meniscus. That was by far one of the scariest injuries I had seen not only as his trainer but as his girlfriend as well. He had his surgery just before the Corona Virus hit. He asked me to stay with him while he recovered because he lives alone. We ended up being quarantined together and we spent so much time together. We spent our quarantine just hanging out, growing Kelly's brand Dope Soul, and rehabbing his knee. I did have to spend some time away from Layla, which was hell, but we had Facetime. I think quarantine really helped both me and Kelly. It helped Kelly really get in touch with his creative side. He started making music and a clothing line. It really helped me focus on studying up on the next season and learning what it is like to be in a healthy relationship. I really do love Kelly with my whole heart and he is so good to me.

During and after quarantine, my following and fame in the basketball community shot up. It was mainly because of Kelly, but many people took to the idea of our relationship breaking the rules and being so unorthodox in the sports community. Many sports magazines like ESPN, GQ, and Overtime wrote articles about our relationship and the hardships we faced. It has honestly been so cool seeing people take to and love our relationship. We have our occasional haters, but the good outweighs the bad.

"You excited for today?" Kelly held my hand as he drove.

"Yes, I think it'll be so fun." I smiled and looked at him.

Today, Kelly and I are doing an interview with GQ for their Youtube channel. I'm very excited because I love GQ and everything they do in the basketball community.

"What do you think they're gonna ask?" I asked Kelly as I watched him drive.

"I don't know. Hopefully nothing too personal." He chuckled and I did too.

We drove for a little longer until we finally pulled up to the Warehouse that GQ uses when they're in Phoenix.

"We got this." Kelly looked as me as he held up his fist.

"We do indeed." I smiled as I fist-bumped him.

He turned off the car and we got out. I fixed the strap on my purse as we walked into the warehouse. We walked in and some people were fixing up a set and setting up cameras.

"Kelly, Royalty." Kelly's agent, Torrel Harris, smiled as he walked up to us.

"Hey Tor, how are you, bro?" Kelly smiled as Torrel bro hugged him.

"Good, how are you?" He smiled as him and Kelly pulled apart.

"Good," Kelly nodded.

"Royalty," Torrel smiled as he turned to me. "How are you beautiful?"

"I'm doing good." I smiled as I hugged him.

"You guys ready for this? They're so excited to have you guys." Torrel smiled and Kelly nodded.

"Let's do it." Kelly nodded.

"Aight, follow me. Their makeup team is ready for you guys." Torrel waved for us to follow him.

We started walking and Kelly slyly slipped his hand into the back pocket of my jeans. I looked up at him and he gave me a smirk. I rolled my eyes at my goofy boyfriend.

We followed Torrel to the makeup room. We walked in and a few ladies were sat up around their salon chairs. They sat us down and started to do some touch-ups on us. They touched up my makeup while they put some on Kelly.

"Stop." Kelly groaned as I recorded the lady putting makeup on him.

They touched up our hair before they set us free. We followed Torrel to a dressing room that they had set up.

"Ooouu I like this place," Kelly smiled as he walked to the snack table in the room.

I smiled and shook my head at him. I sat down on one of the couches in the room and Torrel sat across from me. I smiled as Kelly sat down beside me. I scooted over and laid my head on his shoulder/chest area. Kelly and Torrel talked buisness while we waited for our interview. We wait for a few minutes before a lady called us back into the warehouse. We followed the lady and she showed us where to sit. We sat in two director's chairs infront of 3 big cameras.

"All right guys," The lady caught our attention. "Let's start with introductions. Just say your name and what you are doing with GQ."

We nodded and she counted down from 3. The red lights on the cameras turned on and Kelly started talking.

"What's up guys I'm Kelly Oubre Jr." He introduced himself.

"And I'm Royalty Acuff," I spoke to the camera.

"And today we're answering the most asked questions about our relationship with GQ." Kelly said as he pointed between us.

"And cut." The lady called. "That was good guys. Now it's simple. I'm going to ask you guys questions and all you guys have to do is answer."

"And action." She called and the red lights went on.

"Kelly, how long have you guys been together?" She asked.

"Just over 9 months." Kelly answered and I smiled at him.

"Royalty," She said catching my attention.

"You guys are certainly something else." I smiled as the reporter spoke to us. "How did all of this start?"

"It all started with Pre-Wrap and Tape."
