A few days went by since Robins "unexpected appearance" in the eyes of Deon. He'd never been very aware of other people but Robin seemed different. His dark hair glowed although it was black, bringing out his  eyes like Deon had never seen. He'd constantly walk up to Robin, just to be near him, but covered it up with asshole nicknames like twig, or big bird, knowing full well it made Robin mad beyond belief. What pissed Robin off the most about Deon was that he was constantly calling him Penny, and the name stuck. No one quite understood why he was called Penny, but the name eventually caught on around the school. Deon never felt guilty about the matter, in fact he knew it made Robin mad and thought it was cute like a maniacal jackass *Robins words*.  The air hung dry in a generally abandoned as Robin left his classes building on the way to his car, which was colored bright red so he couldn't miss it. Robin almost had a skill for losing his things if they weren't brightly colored, which contributed to his constant anger at the world. He hated bright colors almost as much as he did Deon. Quickly glancing around to make sure no one saw him, he grabbed at the handle of the door with his sleeve. Just then a flock of girls got out of a van two spaces down, and crowded around him trying to make small talk whilst low-key fighting eachother for the opportunity for some alone time with him. The last to hop out the van was Deon, who was trying to hitch a ride to his apartment while his own car was being fixed.
"What the hell are y'all doing?" He snickered, knowing full well who they were talking to. In sudden panic Robin broke through the crowd and grabbed Deon's arm. Furrowing his eyebrows at the girls.
"Where are you going" he muttered under is breath so they wouldn't hear. Deon looked down and smiled his dimpled smile as though he'd just just seen a bunny come up and rest on his arm.
"Actually ladies, Robin was supposed to meet me at my place anyways, so I'm gonna hitch a ride with him instead. We gotta get going now" he looked down at what he thought was a poor excuse for a French man.
"Isn't that right, Penny?"
Robin was just about ready to slap the shit out of him but forced out the words "Of course, let's go.." the two shuffled towards the door, Deon grinning ear to ear with excitement that he'd spend time with Robin, his height made him feel a little bit more sadistic when he compared himself to a 5'6 European little person. Robin hopped in the drivers seat and slammed the door, silently waiting for the group of stereotypical white chicks to get back into the clown car the called a van and drive off. Once they were nowhere in sight, Robin paused, looked directly into Deon's eyes, put his hand on his shoulder and said "Get the fuck out of my car" in the most terrifying tone Deon had ever heard come from another human beings mouth.
