I..want to kiss you

Your waiting in the park with the picnic you set up for you and travis as an apology for slapping him, you cant get how upset he looked when he turned back to look at your house and it made you feel horrible 'hopefully aph can get him come..' you thought nervously. After a bit of waiting you opened the picnic basket and look out your phone, checking the time is was 2:32pm and he still wasnt here, you sighed you heard a familiar voice

"sorry to keep the princess waiting" travis's soft voice sent a chill down your spine, you turn around and travis was eyeing you with surprise "whoa.." he huffed and walked closer, he looked at the picnic "you set this up?" he asked and you nodded as blush began to creep across your face "may i ask why?" he smiled and sat next to you n the checkered blanket, you nod

"i wanted to..apologize for slapping you" you look away nervously "i..shouldnt have done that and im sorry" you look at him, the red mark on his face was faded but still visible, you frown and look at the ground. You hear him chuckle and he reached over and puts his hand on your cheek then tilts your head back up to look at him

"its ok Y/N, im not mad at you or anything" he was smiling, you just stared at him "besides i should have watched what i said" he said awkwardly and rubbed the back of his neck, you giggled

"its fine" you said and smiled slightly and travis chuckled

"wanna eat now? i never got a chance to eat anything since i fell asleep at your door and once i got home i just took a shower then aphmau came to my house once i was done saying that you were being held hostage at the park by a giant star..or something?" he raised a brow "then lucinda teleported into my house and her hat was on fire so we ran over to help her put her living room out from the fire and well aphmau continued on how you were being held hostage in the park but i didnt believe it so i just walked down here to meet you" he shrugged "and i can see that you havent been taken hostage sooo" he chuckled, you didnt notice until now but there was a bit of ash on his cheek, you reach up and wipe it off, you glance up at him and see he is looking at you with a bit of shock and his face was getting red, you smiled

"ash" you say and travis looked confused

"huh?" he asked and smiled

"y..you had ash on y..your face" you stutter  and take your hand back "oh i made us sandwiches, chocolate strawberries, lemonade, and cookies" you grabbed the picnic basket and began taking all the stuff out and laying it on the blanket

"aww you made all this for me?" he asked in a joking way "how sweeeet" he chuckled, you blushed slightly

"well it was mainly for me but i decided to share" you giggle as you both begin eating. Everything was gone by 4pm and the sun was beginning to go down

"wow this was amazing, i loved the cookies" travis said laying on his back, he had his arm over his eyes and one of his knees were up, you looked at him after packing the empty plates and stuff up. His lips were drawn in a small smile, they looked so soft it made you just wanna.."thanks for making all this Y/N your apology is officially accepted" he smiled even more and you blushed, he lifted his arm a bit so one of his eyes could see you "your quiet" he said as his green eye was almost glowing

"i.." you began then stopped, he lifted his arm and put both of them behind him so he was leaning against them, he was looking at you with his head tilted "i want to kiss you.." you blurted out, your eyes went wide and your face went bright red and same for travis "I..im sorry!" you covered your face in embarrassment "i didnt mean to say that it just.." you began but were cut off when travis took your hands off your face and was looking at you, he began leaning closer to you and your heart was racing "w..wait!" you yelled and crawled backwards, travis looked confused "i..im sorry" you get up and run 'what. am. i. doing?!?' you think "why am i so afraid to just..KISS him?!?/ you can feel tears growing in your eyes. you son made it home, you ran in and closed the door behind you then slid down in, sitting in the floor you put your head down on your knees and wrap your arms around your legs "i feel..horrible..i just left him there..confused" you huffed as you blinked and and a tear ran down your cheek "ugh.." you sniff and hold your head up then wipe your eyes "i think im sick or something..i dont know but somethings wrong with me." you sigh and sit there for a while util you hear a soft knock on the door, you jump up and open it. Standing there is travis "t..travis" you say faintly

"i..brought your stuff" he smiled softly and handed you your basket full of stuff and your shoes that you left behind "thought you might want it all" he chuckled, you took your stuff and set it down "ill be going now, thanks for the food" he turned around and began walking

"travis..wait" you said, he turned around "want to..stay and watch a movie?" you ask looking at the ground then back at him, his smile grew and he nodded

"yeah, that sounds great" he walked back over and you both went into the house and closed the door behind you. You guys get blankets and snacks then pile onto the couch and bein watching a scary movie.
