"Ramona has a boyfriend!" Dora chanted after the two of them came home from school. "Ramona has a boyfriend!"

"I do not!" Ramona shouted back. "I was just talking to a boy, his name is Al Longbottom, and he is two years younger then me."

"He has a butt name!" Dora laughed.

"Girls don't fight." Their adoptive mother Nora said.

"The Longbottoms are coming for dinner tonight." Their adoptive father Milo laughed. "I work with Al's father James. Him and his wife Alice are coming over with their son."

Ramona's cheeks flushed. Her dark blue hair also turned red and her eyes pink.

"Ramona!" Nora scolded. "You must be careful not to let your emotions effect you look. What if this happens when the Longbottoms are over, they could get you arrested for using magic."

"Don't worry I will be more careful." Ramona promised and her hair went back to it's blue. Ramona's sister didn't have this problem, her hair was gold and her eyes hazel.

"Go clean yourself up they will be here in an hour." Nora said sighing slightly. "I try to do some home work if you have time."

"Yes mom." Dora said. She went to run to her room but knocked over the umbrella holder by the door. "Sorry!"

Ramona rolled her eyes at her sister's clumsiness and went to get ready herself. She showered and then put on some black pants with a blue shirt and bronze striped shirt. She then put a bandanna in her hair and went to do her school with her sister at the kitchen table where their mother had set out some crackers and cheese.

"Ugh!" Dora said loudly before throwing her school book across the room.

"Dora what the heck!" Ramona exclaimed as the book nearly missed her head. Her younger sister slumped down in her chair. Dora sat there upset only in her grey robe. Ramona calmed down. "Why don't we find you something to wear."

Once Dora agreed Ramona took her and gave Dora a green t-shirt and a pare of ripped jeans that she always saw her sister wear. She then put Dora's hair in two braids.

"There, now you look human." Ramona said and Dora threw a pillow at her. The two girl giggled until they heard the front door open. "Come on."

Ramona ran out of the room and Dora followed close behind. James and his wife Alice were speaking to Nora and Milo at the door, Alice was holding a bowl in her hands and James a bottle that the children would not be drinking from. Standing next to them was Al who was quiet while his parents spoke.

After a moment Milo saw his daughters and called them forward so he could introduce them.

"Ah and here are my daughters." He said kindly smiling. "This is Mona and this is Dora."

"It is good to meet you two your father speaks very fondly of you two." James said and shook both girls hands. His eyes stayed on Ramona for a second longer then her sister before he let go of her hand.

"Nice to meet you." The sisters said at the same time.

"We have heard nothing about you." Dora laughed.

"Nonsense." Milo gave Dora a look. "My daughter the joker."

Dora simply smiled in response.

"I can take that." Ramona offered Alice.

"Thank you dear." Alice then handed the bowl to her. The adults then went to the living room excluding Milo who was attending to dinner. The three teens were told to go outside to hang out in the large backyard.
