third person POV

Hope was getting ready for bed when she got a call from Allison,

HOP: Hello.

ALLI: Hey, how do you like going for a drive?

HOP: Umm, OK sure and have you figured it out what's on with our wrist problem yet?

ALLI: No, but I know someone who might.

HOP: OK, I'll send my addresses.

ALLI: OK, meet you out front.

Hope hung up the phone, texted Allison her addresses and waited out the front for Allison's car to arrive.

IN ALLISONS CAR

Hope sat at the front with Allison and Lydia sat in the back, Hope started tracing the bruise with a pen and went to Allison's arm, Hope put their wrist together and tried to see what it, looked like, "I don't know. It doesn't look like much to me." Hope says looking at both of their wrist, "How about you Lydia." Hope says hoping Lydia might have answers, "I agree with you Hope it doesn't look like anything I've seen." Lydia says looking at the two girl's wrists, "It's a pattern. It means something." Allison says pulling her hand away and putting both hands on the wheel, "You really think Scott's gonna know what it is." Lydia says looking at Allison and Hope, "No, but he might know someone who does." Allison says with her eyes still on the road "How are you so sure that it means anything at all." Lydia says questioningly then Hope speaks up, "What happens if it's nothing." Hope looks at Allison and then looks at her wrist "Because that girl wasn't just looking for Scott, it's like she needed to find him like she had to and that means something." Allison says and Lydia and Hope sit back in their seats.

The three girls got out of the car and Scott got out of the house and started to walk towards them, Scott looked at Allison, "This isn't the talk we were gonna have, is it." Scott says looking at Hope and Lydia and Alison shakes her head, "I need to show you something." Allison says rolling up her sleeves, Allison shows him her bruised wrist and he looks at it for a bit and looks back up at Alison, "Allison thinks it might be a way to find your friends Boyd and Erica." Hope says looking at the ex-couple and Scott looks at Hope, "Sorry, But who are you." Scott says to Hope, "I'm Hope, but that doesn't matter at the moment." Hope says and Scott can't figure out what her scent was he could only smell a bit of wolf in her. The three girls then left, leaving Scott wondering what Hope was.

Tomorrow morning Lydia had called Hope and told Hope to meet them at one of the classrooms once she went into the classroom she saw three guys walk toward Lydia and Allison, Hope rolled her sleeves up and Hope and Allison put their wrists together and showed Derek their wrist, "I don't see anything." Derek says looking at Scott, "Look again." Scott says telling Derek, "How is a bruise gonna tell me where Boyd and Erica are?" Derek says a little bit louder than before, "It's the same on both sides exactly the same." Scott says defending the girls "It's nothing." Derek says glaring at the girls, "Pareidolia." Lydia says looking at Derek, "Seeing patterns that aren't there." Hope says and Derek and Scott look at each other, "It's a subset of Apophenia." Lydias looking away, "They're trying to help." Scott says looking at Derek, "These three." Derek says quickly looking at three girls and back at Scott then he points to Lydia "This one, who used me to resurrect my psychotic Uncle, thank you." Derek says then points to Allison "And this one, who shot about 30 arrows into me and my pack." Derek said pointing at Allison "And I don't who she is." Derek says pointing at Hope, "Okay, all right, now, come one, no one died, all right? look, there may have been a little maiming, okay, a little mangling, but no death that's what I call an important distinction." Stiles trying to calm down everyone, "My mother died." Allison says to Derek, "Your family's little honour code killed your mother. not me." Derek says calmly to Allison "That girl was looking for Scott, I'm here to help him, not you." Allison says shaking her head "You wanna help? find something real." Derek turns around and Hope scoffs, "Say the word and I will boil his blood." Hope whispers to Allison, "No he is a friend of Scott's so we can't." Allison says with a small chuckle, as Derek starts heading toward the door but then stops and Scott goes to Derek and talks with him.
