#3: Diaval :o

Planning to draw Him with Maleficent soon XXDDDD

Process:

I start with a blue draft, drawing simple guidelines for the head, eyes and chin. 

Sometimes I add circles where the eyes, nose, and mouth would be. A good tool I use in my program is transform, when selecting an area like the eye and fixing it (if it may be a little too wide or short), helps a ton!

Next is the outline, in which I make a new layer and added a dark blue ink color which I changed later on to black. I used a simple sketching pen.

If you are able zoom in and out to get better accuracy of drawing whatever you're trying to draw.

This took me three tries to get the sketched outline right but whatever or how many tries it takes you to get it right is alright, even if its twenty times!! XD 

Next I added a mid-tone layer underneath my existing layers so I can later add in shadow and light.

Next I added jet black using a pen for his hair overtop the layers, also made a new layer for this...Just saying I have a lot of layers, but later I do combine once I'm completely finished. 

Next I used a flat pen, charcoal pen and another unknown pen for texture and shadow. I also added another layer for this. 

Next I add light with a lighter grey. I also found a random texture brush as well to add texture. 

Next I added finer detail in pure white with a painting pen that i used as more of a pen.

Finally the handwritten words are last :D

Hope this small tutorial wasn't too confusing on how I created this...not good at explaining things but I try what I can.
