Toni's POV
6 am

I woke up the next morning with a horrible headache, "I should've just left instead of drinking" I muttered as I my held head. I looked under me and saw Cheryl sound asleep, I kissed her forehead and slowly got off her, I then headed towards the bathroom and got showered, once I finished I got dressed for work

I grabbed a pen and wrote a note for Cheryl, I kissed her cheek and walked downstairs, took some medicine and headed out

Cheryl's POV

I woke up and saw that Toni had left, I looked at my nightstand and found I note, it read, "sorry for getting drunk last night Cher, after work I'll buy you some cupcakes since you took care of my drunk ass, love you -TT"

I smiled at the note and checked my phone and saw that it was 10 o'clock. I then heard my phone ring, "What's up V"

"You'll be coming over right?" She asked

"Yeah, I'll be over in a bit I just need to freshen up" I divulged

"Alright, I'll see you then" Veronica said and hung up the phone

I stood up and got freshened up and got changed into some new clothes. I exited the house and hopped into my car, driving to the Pembroke

I headed upstairs and knocked on the door, "Hello "soon to be Cheryl Marjorie Topaz" Veronica said smirking, I rolled my eyes and entered the place, "Don't gotta say my full name V"

She chuckled, "Hold on I'll go grab them, their in my room" she said entering her room, she soon came back with a box and opened it, "Take your time and pick Blossom, or should I say Topaz" she teased, "Shut it Lodge" I said blushing

I looked through the ring box and spotted a diamond encrusted band and picked it up, "Hey V is there a way to get a little Serpent engraved in the inside?" I asked

"Sure, I'll just call up my jeweler and we can get it engraved" she said smiling at me, "How you feeling about the wedding?"

"I'm so excited V! I'm getting married to the love of my life, I never knew someone could actually love me or I could love someone until she came into my life" I said swooning over her, "I'm so happy you two are getting married! When Toni told Betts and I she was proposing we were so excited"

"I'm still in shock that Toni and I are getting married, I feel like I'm dreaming" she punched me, "Ow! Jeez what the fuck!" I yelled rubbing the place she punched

"You felt the pain, your not dreaming" she divulged, "No shit! That hurt V, I'm telling Toni!" I whined, "Don't! She'll fucking kill me!", "Should've thought about that before punching me Lodge"

"My apologies Queen Cheryl" she teased, "Can you quit doing that" I said playfully slapping her arm, the both of us laughed

We were interrupted by my phone ringing, "Yes babe?"

"Are you at Ronnie's?" She asked

"Yeah why?"

"Well I won't be home for another 2 to 3 hours. I don't want you alone" she divulged

I smiled, "Sweet as always love"

"Of course, I need to go now though"

"Okay, I'll see you later. And don't forget about my cupcakes!" I reminded her

"I won't forget, love you"

"Love you" I hung up,

"Can Archie be as sweet as Toni please!" Veronica whined, I laughed as I sat next to her, "How are you with your so called Archiekins" I asked
