Chapter 1: Ravaryn
My breathing hitched when I realized that I was really in other dimension of the world.
"Wait, I'm sorry I am not Cinderella. Nagkakamali lang po kayo." I denied but they only laughed at me. Naiiyak pa nga sila sa sobrang tawa.
This scene seems so familiar.
"She's bluffing the same joke again!" Someone at the crowd said, and then laughed again.
This is crazy!
My forehead creased at them. I don't find my situation funny, alright?
"What do you mean, sir?" I asked him. They suddenly stopped laughing.
A man with a bald head and a big tummy came near me, he point his finger on me, his mouth were still open.
"You..called..him..sir?" He asked me in this believed. Why? What should I call him?
"Unbelievable! Turan pa niya, they starts to laugh again.
"Cinderella! I didn't know you're a good joker! Napakapalabiro mo pala!" The woman who has a handkerchief that tied in her head said.
Agad ako'ng umiling sa sinabi niya.
"I am not Cinderella, I am Cindy!" Pamimilit ko.
For the nth time they laughed at me again. And a realization hits me hard, kaya pamilyar ito'ng senaryo na 'to it is because I dreamt of this last night. Everything of this!
"Iyan din ang idinahilan mo kahapon, Cinderella." Yesterday? Ngayon lang ako nakarating dito. I noticed the way they talk, its too formal. Way too formal.
"No, I'm telling you the truth, ma'am. I am Cindy and I don't know this place." I'm getting crazier each time passed.
"You can't fool us anymore, Cinderella.
"No! Please, believe me I came from Philippines, I don't belong here and I need to come back! Please, help me!" I could almost taste the tears that coming out into my eyes.
They once looked at each other, tula naguusap sila gamit ang mga mata nila. I heard someone sighed.
"Philippines? There's no such place like that, Cinderella. What book have you read this time?" The thin man asked.
"Please, you have to believe me, I need to go back to my place, a weird woman put a cast on me." I pleaded.
I looked at my strange surrounding. Para'ng old place siya, it looks like an old market. In the middle of the plaza, there is a huge fountain, it looks old yet elegant.
