CHAPTER 9

Henrik's POV
I can't believe i woke up late. Its my first day to work. I should hurry and head out.
I get downstairs hop in my car and set off for work. Am really nervous. I expected to come back here in later years but it came too soon. CEO? Me? hhhh i hadn't cherished this position yet since I've been busy worrying about being back and handling Alyssa's school issues.
I reach at the office, and from the parking lot i get the lift to get to my office floor.
Wait was it 6th floor or 16th? I don't remember quite well. Since the company owns the entire building, I'll go to 6th first.
Elevator opens

Am i really on the right floor?

Oh! Hello Mr. Kim

I wonder who this could be, she knows my name too.

Oh this is you in the picture, right? You are a bit late so i thought you were lost somewhere in the building

Oh i see

Am Soo Ah. Min Soo Ah. Your secretary. And we are supposed to be on the 16th floor
She says as she presses for the elevator

Oh! For a grown up i feel embarrassed being lost and late on my first day at work hhh. Nice meeting you. Call me Henrik please.

Elevator opens and they walk in.

I don't know if it will make you uncomfortable but am the type who hates honorifics between me and my secretary.

Henrik stares closely at her

She smiles as she leaves the office.

I should get to work, review what Brian had done so far then I'll start from there tomorrow.
I also need to come up with a new product i don't know what he had come up with sofar. I'll ask Soo Ah about that later.

Rashi's POV
Where has Justin gone now. He is really trouble itself.
I run outside only to see him talking to Danny. I wonder how he knows them.
She seems like a trouble maker herself depending on how she stood up for Danny on her first day at school. I should go and blend in with them. We are in the same group after all.
We do the introductions and later go for lunch. I feel that am the only one who ain't too close so i proposed the idea.

In the cafeteria

Alyssa, that's a lot of Korean food for someone new here. I heard you've been in the states for long.

Oh! How do you know about that?

Students were talking about it when you left class earlier.

Justin coming through, I'll sit here with you cutie.
Interferes with Danny
Danny sits on Rashi's side instead

Ohh! I see. I always knew i would come to Korea so i visited a few Korean restaurants while in the States so am kinda used to the food.

Ohh... now i get it.

I wonder if Justin likes Alyssa. He keeps calling her cutie and touching her each chance he gets. Why do i even care? How long have they even known each other? For the time i knew Justin he has never had any friends. I should just get this off my mind.

Hey Alyssa am done eating, see you later. I have a different class.

Am off too, you guys finish your lunch. Am having the same class.

Okay Rashi. Call me after your done, my timetable is clear for the afternoon.

Alyssa's POV
I lied to Rashi, yes i visited quite a few restaurants but i never got used to Korean food. I don't even know what this is. I just wanted to try it.
Now it's finally just me and Justin, I'll ask him.

Laughs so hard that he kneels on the ground.
You said you're used to the food. How can that be when you don't know what the food is.

Tries to cover his mouth so he stops laughing
Yaah i didn't lie, i... i picked the food without minding and i was embarrassed to tell her that. She's a foreigner too.

Just stop eating, you might get indigestion hhh i can't with you being like this.
You said we are gonna hangout, let's go.

I should visit around the area. For laughing hard at me am gonna make him regret that. He'll have to show me around the whole city hhh
