(Darryl)

Did he just say that? What did he mean? Could he possibly be jealous? Does he like me? Why do I care? I'm over him, or am I? I guess I have to admit it. They're not the one, Zak is. Why did I even try to stop loving him?  I'm gonna call him back.
"Zak," he heard from his phone.
"Hey, sorry if I upset you earlier, I shouldn't have talked about them that much…" Darryl apologized.
"No I should be sorr-" Zak started but he got cut off by Darryl.
"Listen here you little muffin, you did nothing wrong. I was the one who kept lying to myself. I don't actually like them, I was just trying to get over someone."
"Who?" Zak asked. Should I really do it? I might ruin our friendship… Darryl thought. Screw it.
"You," Darryl said before he couldn't change his mind.
"Wait, really!?" Zak couldn't believe what he had just heard.
"Yes."

(Zak)

Zak had never been this happy before.
"I like you too!" He said.
"So…wanna watch a movie later?" Darryl suggested.
"Of course!"
"You sound like a happy muffin." Darryl giggled.

"WHY WOULD SHE DO THAT!?" Darryl yelled.
"Because he broke her heart-" Zak tried to explain. Darryl cut him off.
"But he didn't mean to!"
"This is why I don't watch these kinds of movies with you." Zak sighed. I'm actually here, with Darryl, on a date.
"But it's so good!" Darryl protested.
"Ok then you muffin," Zak went to check the time when he saw it. "QUARANTINE ENDS IN A WEEK!?!?"
