Paint covered the empty walls, trees and buildings springing to life as Ink ran throughout the white space. Colors mixing together as the white slowly seeped away. Green was a heavy influence for this AU, plant life sprung from every corner; flowers of all types blooming as the creator danced. Each AU was special, and so was their process. At least he believed it was anyway.
'Creating the inhabitants was always the most intricate part' a blank skeleton had appeared before Ink, 'a little bit too much paint can lead to mistakes like FellTale.' he flooded the skeleton with greens and blues. Creating AUs felt addictive; each one was introducing a new feeling. And being interrupted was one of the worst feelings.
He could feel it even before the guardian arrived, yellow paint had taken over his "soul". He was going to have to finish it later then. A smile etched itself onto his face as Dream entered carrying a box. His smile faltered when he noticed the guardian wasn't smiling, "We've got something Ink."
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The hall echoed with chatter as they waited for their Star Sanses to arrive. Some sipped on their favoured drinks as others took naps. When a small blip was heard the chatter had stopped, the newer members searching for the sound.
Two skeletons walked into the room; one dressed in gold, and the other held a brush on his back. "I believe you all know why we called this meeting today, correct?" they questions in unison, the golden one pulling out a box from a pocket dimension. A newer Sans looked around, "Not really, I've no idea what's goin' on 'ere." a few others nodded their heads, looking to the golden one.
"Well . . . my name is Dream!", he flashed a smile, "and this meeting is about the destroyer." he placed his hands on the box, "Our biggest headache and setback yet." the older judges watched and Dreams' grip tightened. A skeleton covered in red and black slammed his fist onto the table, "Jus' get on with it I ain't got all day." Dream looked over to him and smiled slightly"And that's Red."
Clearing his throat the other skeleton spoke, "Now that introductions have finished let's move onto the task at hand," adjusting his brush he looked over the crowd, " it's the disappearance of Error."
Some judges cringed at the name, putting their drinks down and finally paying attention. Ink continued, "He's been missing for a month now and despite our efforts, we can't find more than a a few seconds of film."
Dream opened the box, pulled out a wheel of film and handed it to Ink. "What's with the film reel?" a Sans with candy stuck on him asked, "It's ClassicTale, Sugar over there they still live in the black an white era of humans." a skeleton with wings answered. Sugar made a small 'oh' and kept chatting with the feathered skelton. When they finally got the projector set up they stuck in the film.

Error was walking on the roofs as he watched the monsters below. They had reached the surface and were building their homes. He had decided to sit on a tree branch, seemingly deep in thought. Suddenly the skeleton flinched, hand grabbing onto the branch as he glitched. In a second the branch had been snapped and he was in front of the camera.
Cracks upon cracks had taken residence on his skull; his bones covered in white dust leaving them chalky and rough. Before the camera had been destroyed he mouthed one simple word. Black flooded the screen as old fashioned letters appeared,
"Th|€-ef"

Some Sanses cringed at his face, remembering the destruction and eventual revival of their AUs. While others were confused at his choice of words. "We don't know the meaning, or reason of his disappearance. Until we find him we can't predict what he'll do next." Ink spoke, pinprick flashing between green, red, and blue.
The sans called Sugar spoke up, "Why don't we just set a trap then?, lure him in with low risk on our side?" a few council members looked at him appalled, others seemed satisfied.
The creator sighed, about to speak out before Dream put a gloved hand on his shoulder, "that seems like an intriguing idea Sugar, lets put it to a vote."Straightening his back, Ink nodded along. The decision was unanimous, create a decoy AU for Error and wait.
