As the managarmr weakly boosted out of the range of the flock and lightning, Lea weighed the options, she didn't know how to purge this corruption from this titan, it seemed that it was far too corrupted, but she didn't want to give up so easily and kill an innocent creature.

What else can i possibly do?

The corrupted nodes on this titan were by far the easiest to reach, but it seemed to be pointless to attack them anyways. Anything she did seemed to hurt the titan rather than the nodes. Fortunately for her the titan seemed to be far more passive than the other two, and this allowed her time to think about what to do next. The flock seemed to obey the desert titan, but only in a defensive way, and they seemed to refuse going far away from it even despite obvious gestures and roars from the boss telling them to pursue, indicating that the flock might not be corrupted, were probably aware of the stranger change to the desert titan's behaviour and were only attacking to protect the titan.

She had continued to try many things, trying to attack the corruption up close with her managarmr's claws and fangs, but only ended up almost getting knocked off her managarmr when the titan decided to barrel roll. The flock quickly rushed to aid the titan, swarming around them. Lea winced as one of the small creatures managed to rush past, cutting her shoulder with its wings, her managarmr managed to boost backwards, though not before receiving some injuries of its own, the energy firing from its feet also scattering the flock, giving it enough time to regain balance in the air and rush away as the titan angled upwards, snapping its jaws at them. Electric fields followed them, but the delayed lightning strike was too slow to hit the fast moving managarmr. The flock pursued briefly before circling back and swarming around the wings of the desert titan.

Maybe I should try to make the titan hit its own corruption with its tail or something. Lea thought, Its the only thing I haven't tried that I can think of. Her managarmr landed on one of the mountains to rest for a few seconds, before leaping back into the air and boosting towards the titan, as soon as they got close again. The flock suddenly appeared, spilling out from the barnacle-like holes on its wings. (AUTHORS NOTE: when i found out this was where the flock is "stored" it actually f**king disgusted me, it reminds me of that toad that f**king carries its babies in literal HOLES IN ITS BACK LIKE OH MY GOD FROGS AND TOADS CREEP ME THE HELL OUT WITH THEIR BODIES THAT LOOK TOO SQUISHY AND LIKE THEY WOULD POP AND THEIR LONG CREEPY LEGS AND SHORT ARMS AND EYES AND STUFF BUT THAT JUST MAKES IT SO MUCH WORSE, WHY NATURE, WHY DOES THAT THING EXIST?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!) The flock rushed at the her managarmr but he was able to strafe to the side a few seconds before the flock could reach it and outmaneuver the small creatures. As she got close to the titan, it immediately did a barrel roll too early, and the managarmr was able to land on its back near one of the corrupted nodes. The titan roared in annoyance and lifted its head to see its back, before raising its tail. The managarmr was too fast for the slow attack and scurried to one of the wings as the tail slapped the spot where it had been. With no effect to the corruption.

Suddenly the managarmr leapt away from the titan and slowly landed the ground below, Lea realized the attacks from the flock must've hurt the managarmr more than she thought. Another lightning field appeared around them, but even in its weakened state the managarmr was still fast enough to just avoid the lightning strike, though it was still too close for comfort. The titan seemed to have gotten much more aggressive, now actively chaining the summoning of  lightning down much more frequently.

The managarmr did its best to avoid the lightning strikes while the desert titan all of a sudden seemed more aggressive, swooping down towards the ground at them, its huge mouth open. In desperation Lea shot at the titan as it moved at them, the blast hit the desert titan near the right side of its mouth (the part where your lower jaw connects to your upper jaw), causing the titan to grunt in pain as it veered to the side as it did it moved above one of its own lightning fields, suddenly the bright blue bolt of electricity struck the titan in the back, the titan let out a cry of pain, however something else also happened, the corrupted nodes on its back began to start moving. The titan, still howling in pain, aimed upwards to try to fly back into the sky, but while doing so it slammed its body into part of the cliffs, the corrupted node shattered from the impact, causing the titan to thrash wildly, sending debris flying everywhere, its flock splitting apart to dodge the debris, a few of them didn't make it,  with a mighty lash of her tail the desert titan soared above the cliff, trying to turn its head with much difficulty due to its lack of a long neck, to try to peek at its back. her eyes seemed to widen when she saw charred flesh where one of the corrupted nodes had been. Screaming with anger it thrashed its head about as if pointing to its injury and then roared at the survivor and managarmr below, gesturing as if telling the flock to attack the ones who caused this injury, this caused the flock to swarm around the titan, even more protective than before, but even still they refused to go on the offense, the titan bellowed in frustration, snapping its jaws and roaring at the flock as if it were trying to tell them to obey, the flock would not. In a fit of rage the titan spun around in the air snarling and snapping the air before diving back down towards Lea, this time the titan's mouth was closed, protecting its vulnerable flesh inside and its flock swarming around its body.

The lightning, Lea realized, It's the only thing that can make the corrupted nodes vulnerable, but now that she knows that too, how will we get this titan to use her lightning attacks again?

AUTHORS NOTE: k then I guess this will be a 3 part titan taming, because I didn't expect this to take so long to write...
