5 And 19s Story

Chapter 14

"...We're still not safe. Ben and Oliver are still out there... we can't stay with them.." 19 whimpered.

5 looks at 9 and 7. The couple look back at 5 and smile a bit. 5 looked towards the distance, then back at them, "... she's... she's right guys.."

9 walked over to him with a sad expression on his face, he placed a hand on 5's shoulder, "... she is.. isn't she?... You go, and take care of her... we all love you and we want what's best for you.. it'll be okay.."

"You guys will be safe.. r-right?.." 5 asked.

"Of course we will be 5! You have nothing to worry about." 7 said as she walks over to them.

"1 and 8 won't approve 19 staying with us... So, it's all up to you now to protect her.. you think we can do that?.." 9 asked.

5 nods, "with my life... we've been through a lot together.. can we really give it all up?"

"Go live your life 5. You've been locked away here for to long... it's time.." 7 sighed sadly.

2 walks up to them, tearing up, "Oh.. my boy.." he said as he hugged the one eyed stitchpunk. 5 hugged back.

"I'm going to miss you 2..." 5 whimpered, tearing up.

"I'll miss you too.. you stay safe.." 2 then let go of the embrace and put his hand on 5's eye patch. "You have been so loyal, to everyone here... I'm proud of you, son.."

5 hugged 2 one more time as the twins and 7 joined in on the hug.

7 sighed, "hey.. come by and visit us sometime, will ya?.."

"Most definitely.." 5 nodded

2 and 7 released from the tight embrace but 3 and 4 didn't let go of him. 5 chuckled a bit as he knelt down to their size and hugs them again, "hey you two.. I'll visit.. I'll miss you guys too.. But this is so we can all be safe... it'll be okay..." he reassured them. The twins nod and go back to 7 as 5 stood up. 9 walks back up to him.

"You take care of her..." 9 then looks at 19, "And you take care of him."

19 chuckles, "I won't disappoint.."

9 smiles and and looks back at 5, "it's time.. time to come out the shadows... And go live with the love of your life.."

5 hugs 9, "take care of 7.. And yourself.."

"No need to worry about us..." 9 said as he hugs back, "but I will.."

Tears rolled down the two friends cheeks. 9 then pulled away from the tight embrace and looked at 5, "Go on 5... go.." he said as he backed up to 2, the twins and 7. 5 looked at them then at 19.

".. ready?.." 19 asks as she tilts her head.

5 nods. He glances back at the others, "... I'll be sure to visit.. once we know that it'll be safer... I love you all... thank you.. for everything."

"Goodbye 5.." 9 waved.
"Good luck my son.." 2 smiled.
"We'll miss you.." 7 said.

".. see ya.." 5 then turned back to 19. 19 smiled at them. She turned towards the emptiness and started to run off.

5 took a deep breath in, he made his expression on his face look brave, and he ran off after 19 as 2, the twins 7 and 9 watched them.

9 held 7's hand, "You okay, sev?.."

"Yeah... are you?.." 7 asked as she held his hand back.

9 nods, "Yeah, yeah I'm okay.."

5 stopped after a bit and looked back at them sadly. 19 also stopped and waited for him.

9 nodded at 5, "it's okay buddy... go on.."

A tear trickled down 5's cheek again. He looked away and started to run off with 19 again.

"... let's go home.." 9 whimpered as then started walking home back to the cathedral.

After a few hours, they returned.
1, 6 and 8 were waiting there for them.

"Where is 5?.." 1 asks.

"Free!" 7 answered with a glare at 1 as she walks upstairs.

9 sighed and explained to 1, then followed 7. 1 was a little shocked by the actions. He shook his head as 2 walked to the work shop, crying a little. 6 went back to his drawing room and 3 and 4 followed 7 and 9.

The sun started to set.

5 and 19 had already found a safe home for them. They weren't gonna bother trying to find the rest of the cat punks since they didn't want to in danger them as well. 19 walks into their new home and lays down on a few blankets. "Oh what a day.." she whimpered. 5 nodded and laid down with her. 5 nuzzled her a bit as they slowly fell asleep.

9 was in his and 7's room, looking out the window. 7 walks up to him and places her hand on her mates shoulder. 9 looked at her and smiled.

7 sighed, ".. it won't be the same without him.."

"No... no it won't..." 9 whimpered and rubbed his face, "... how long will think go on 7?.."

"I don't know 9... not long I hope..." 7 responded.

9 nods and kisses her, "... let's get some rest.."

"Alright.."

The young couple hopped into bed and fell asleep.

A few days later.

It had been quiet on the cathedral, not much had been happening. Of course, 2 was extremely lonely without 5 but 7 and 9 were sure to keep the old man company.

5 and 19 lived happily but 5 of course missed the others and worried about them a little. But this is what was best to keep everyone safe. He was sitting outside staring at the clouds as 19 came up to join him.

"Hey.. how you doing?" She asked.

"Hello darling.." 5 said as they gave each other a quick kiss, "I'm alright... missing them.."

"You'll see them again soon. We just have to lay low for a while.."

"I know, I know... it's just.. hard... leaving a group you've known for most of your life.."

19 nuzzled 5 a bit, "I know it's hard.. trust me. I get it..."

5 looked at her and smiled.

19 smiled back, "now let's get inside, it's starting to get cold out here.." she giggled and walked back inside. 5 hummed a small chuckled and followed her in.
