Yes, I am in the same class with my two best friends, and Elijah. Yep, we're all in the same class. I am looking at the whiteboard, and out the corner of my eye, I see Elijah looking at me. He smiles at me, and I quickly look away. Dennis catches my eye, and he scowls. Uh Oh, trouble in Dennisland. I always wonder why Dennis is so protective over me.
*Bzzzzz* My phone vibrates, I smoothly take it out. There is a text from my little sister, Cori, 'mom said to take the bus home'. Mr. Chester clears his throat amd says, "Miss Smith, what is the answer to number one?". "um, uh...", I stuttered. I wasn't actually paying attention. "263", said a boy's voice. I look around see Elijah smiling at me.
*Rrrring* The school bell rimgs after fourth period was over."Hey". I see Elijah tryimg to talk to me. "Melody, did you take my apology?". Answering a math question is not really an apology. "That wasn't an apology Elijah". "Melody, I am sorry for putting you through all that... pain.", he said in an apologetic voice. "It's okay", I say firmly, walking faster.
We ride the same bus, so it doesn't even matter if I run. "Do you want to go out?", he asked. I was,silent for a while, before turning around and saying,"yes." I then got on the bus, and sat down. He sat right next to me.
"Hey Elijah.", Brianna, the girl he cheated on me with, said seductively. "Hey.", Elijah said coldly. "What's wrong with you?l, she said,touching his arm. He moved it briskly.
"Hey Melody.", my little sister, Cori, said. "Yeah?", I said. "Do you and elijah go out?", she asked. "Yes, how did you know?", I said. "I'm Cori, I know everything." I chuckled and looked out the window.
