Summary: It's Tina's (Tim) first date with Chris (Cassie) in his civillian form. Before going out she talks to his 2 best friends Gartha (Garfeild) and Betty (Bart). The song is from the musicale waitess.

Gar and Betty were siting on Tina's bed watching as there friend paced back and forth. Gar let out a big sigh and asked,

"Are you going to just keep muttering to yourself or tell us whats wrong?"

Tina looked at her friends and began "I stick with real things."

"Usually facts and figures" Tina said as she listed of things on her fingers.

"When information's in its place,I minimize the guessing game." she said as she sat on a cusion right infront of the bed.

"Guess what?" she said, witch pirked up her friends.

"What?!"  they asked.

"I don't like guessing games." she told them with a frown. "Or when I feel things, before I know the feelings."

"How am I supposed to operate,If I'm just tossed around by fate?,Like on an unexpected date?" she asked her friends as they looked at each other with uneasy looks.

Tina then began to list off bad things that chould happen "The stranger who might talk too fast." when she said that Gar sent Betty a look, witch Betty glared at her witch earned a snicker from the green girl.

"Or ask me questions about myself, before I've decided that." as she sang that she threw her head into her hands.

"He can ask me questions about myself." she then began walking all around the room.

"He might sit too close." as she sat very in the middle of her two friends and then leaped back in front of them.

She began tapping her foot "Or call the waiter by his first name."

"Or eat Oreos, but eat the cookie before the cream." as she said that Betty was eating the cookie before the cream, witch made Gar go in a huge laughing fit.

"But what scares me the most,what scares me the most..." she stared at the floor and began rubbing her arm as muttered those words.

"Is what if when he sees me, what if he doesn't like it?" she asked her friends as she stood up and began walking again.

"What if he runs the other way and I can't hide from it?" she then turned around to face her friends again.

She rubbed her head in one of those thinking poitions "What happens then?"

"If when he knows me, he's only disappointed?" she gave herself a hug hopeing to make herslf feel better.

"What if I give myself away, to only get it given back?" she the took one of Betty's cookies and ate it.

"I couldn't live with that." she told them as she finished her cookie.

"So, I'm just fine, inside my shell-shaped mind."  As she sang she when't over to the window and opened the curtins to show the becuatiful view.

"This way I get the best view." She brushed her hand over the glass as she looked at the sky.

She turned so her back was pressed herslf agenst the glass "So, when he sees me, I want him to."

Gar snorted as Betty asked "Tina, don't you think,you're being,maybe just a tad little-"

But she was cut off "I'm not defensive."

"I'm simply being cautious,I can't risk reckless dating,due to my miscalculating." she said as she put a finger up to show she was meaning bussniss.

"While a certain suitor stands in line." her foot began to tap along.

"I've seen in movies." Betty glared as Gar plopped the last cookie in her mouth.

"Most made for television,You cannot be too careful,When it comes to sharing your life." Gar got bored and when't over to the desk to grab the last box of cookies.

"I could end up a miserable wife!" Tina yelled in the faces as she jumped up to them.

"Sorry girls." she told them sheepishly as she made her way, to stand before them.

"He could be criminal, some sort of psychopath who escaped from an institution, somewhere where they don't have girls!" she sang as she threw her hands to her head and pulled her hair.

"How did she say that all in one breath?" Gar asked Betty who just shruged.

"He could have masterminded some way to find me." she began tugging her hair more.

"He could be colorblind!!" she yelled as both of her friends snorted.

Upon hearing there snort she said "How untrustworthy is that?"

"He could be less than kind." she told them

Her voice became a lot soffter as she sang "Or even worse he could be very nice, have lovely eyes."

"And make me laugh, come out of hiding." as she pulled herslf into her arms.

"What do I do with that?" as she hugged herself tighter.

"Oh, God..." she sighed.

"What if when he sees me,I like him and he knows it?" she asked as she began to tugg her hair again.

"What if he opens up a door,And I can't close it?" she sang as she began to travel around the room again.

"What happens then?" she asked her two best freinds that were still eating cookies and watching her.

"If when he holds me."  as she sang that she pulled Gar into a side hug.

"My heart is set in motion,I'm not prepared for that." as she flopped into the custion.

She hugged herslf on the custion and sang "I'm scared of breaking open."

"But still I can't help from hoping." as she put her hands on her lap and looked at her freidns.

"To find someone to talk to,Who likes the way I am." she sang in that voice that makes you know she's thinking.

" Someone who when he sees me." as she fiddled with her hands.

"Wants to again~" she belted out as she threw her arms out.

"Miss Tina, Mister Chris is here!" Alfred called out. (Im not makeing Alfred a Women in this One-shot)

Tina yelled out a sqeak of suprise and fell back. He two best friends then threw a fit of laughter. Oh, how intesting this date was going to be.
