Hayden Baker returns to her home town of Cresthaven Grove after filming the latest action movie, Royal Renegade, at only 15 years old in Hollywood. Now, she is back at 16 and she is welcomed back by family, friends, and fans all alike. Being a junior is tough, what with the tests and general high school drama. But try adding on the popularity and pressure that comes with being a rising Hollywood star.
She's ecstatic when it is announced that this year's drama production will be "Romeo and Juliet," one of her favorite plays of all time. When cast as Juliet, she waits to find out who will play Romeo, and after careful deliberation, the part is awarded to... Ryan Peters.
Wait, who?
Ryan Peters is a loner, the unknown of the school. After running through a few of the scenes in the play, Robin claims there are no sparks between the two. And their new assignment? It's to get to know each other and create some chemistry by going out on a date.
Will sparks fly or will the hopes for a successful play die?
