I walked with this boy to his house with a sign over it that said "Mystery Shack." I had never felt my heart pounding this hard before. Did I like this boy?
We walked into his house, I looked around, there were many......interesting things in there. When he saw my confused face he said, " My uncle runs this tourist trap, and it's also were we live." I nodded at him when I saw a girl about the same age as me and him, running down the stairs. She had the same brown hair as this boy, was wearing a dark purple sweater with a pug on it, and a green skirt. "Hey Dipper! Who are you?!" She asked me with enthusiasm. "Oh! Um I'm Sophie!" I said. I turned to Dipper, "Sorry I didn't tell you earlier." "Oh it's fine," he said as he finished bandaging my knees. "There you go!" "Thank you so much."I said as I felt myself blush hard. There was a long pause. "Let me show you our room!" Mabel said breaking the awkward silence. She helped me up the stairs with Dipper behind me. We went into the large bedroom and sat down on what I assumed was Mabel's bed, because it had colorful posters and stuffed animals on it. Mabel started to pull out a photo album when Dipper sat down on his bed across the room. When he caught me looking at him I turned the other way so I was looking at Mabel, who was excitedly smiling and squirming. "OMG! Do you like each other?" I blushed harder than I already was then Dipper said, " N-no I-i don't," and gave an awkward but cute fake smile. "Yeah right Dip! But anyway, Sofie, I want to show you my pictures of our summer!" Mabel said as she opened her photo album. She started showing me some pictures of the things they had done, but my mind was somewhere else. I looked over at Dipper to see that he was reading a book. It had a Golden hand on the front that the number three on it. Just when I was about to ask Dipper what he was reading, Mabel shut the book hard and grabbed my arm. She led me out into the hallway with a big smile on her face. "Okay, tell me the truth," I knew what was coming next, "do you have a crush on Dipper?" Should I tell her I have a huge crush on her brother?"well......okay yes! I love him so much, when I'm around him I blush and get butterflies in my stomach, he is so nice to me and he is so handsome and cute, but I just met him and I don't know if he likes me back......" Mabel was about to explode with joy by the expression on her face. "We have to tell Dipper!" She said as she ran into her room squealing. Before I could stop her she was already on Dipper's bed with a goofy smile. "Dipper, Sofie nee-" she tried to say before I put my hand over her mouth. "Careful, she's a licker." Dipper said to me. "What?" I said as Mabel licked my hand and ran off. "What was that all about?" He said. My heart was racing and I could feel my face blush.
