The Colors.

I

Yellow

Like the sun’s rays shining as the children play in the park

Like the sunflowers blooming on the beautiful spring day

On a sunny day, it was all yellow!

In twilight, the yellow stars shine brighter than the sun on a hot summer day

They shine for them so that their love could be blessed by the heavens

In the essence of Yellow, nothing is wrong nor can they be distraught!

Never when it is all yellow.

II

White.

The blanket of snow covered the land

And leaves them with a ringing of bells, and the hello’s of their kin.

To all the carols, the joy, the laughter and so much more

Makes them wonder what would the holidays be without White?

Without purity without the erg to steal or harm or cause pain?

This is a color of Life and thankfulness and thanksgiving!

Thank full for each other and the indescribable bond they hold

And their younger siblings waiting for St. Nick to come in

With or without their family, they are to be happy together

With hugs and kisses and warm beds to sleep in

In the coat of white, through all the night

They sleep tight, with the color of white

III

Red

It was red, and that was enough said

Their dance together in the crowd forgetting all that is about them

The feud that lies between their ancestors

Being oblivious never felt so right they thought!

But how they wished they though the opposite now

The blood on the dance floor makes some run

But for them makes the charm go away…

He was stained! The blood was in his hand

All she did was cry father, Father come back!

The passion faded away and that is the reason why he is

Checked in the cell, but he that didn’t bother him, losing her

Stabbed him in his heart.

These star crossed lovers were no more

The color red is a sad one, and that is enough said

IV

Black

Black were the tears racing down her face

Black were the robes that they wore, her family that is

The sky was dark, the clouds were gray and

The birds crowed their weeping song

Oh hear the iron bells clinging all morning long.

Heads were bowed, eyes were drowned in tears

The church hummed their sorrow away…

There she stood by the churned tree, remembering the days she spent

With her father, but now he is 6 feet under.

She is alone, she is in eternal pain, and she lives for no one now.

Woe is her.

V

From the Joy of yellow they laughed

Because of the white they grew a love

The red is what tore them into bite sized pieces of regret

But the black is what kills them eternally.

Maybe their harmony was impulsive!

Oh to be young and to feel love’s keen sting...

To cry, and hurt, and feel the pain of a broken heart kills

But maybe the colors just weren’t matched
