______________The teens got up around nine in the morning. Lauren didn't come in to wake them up. Even if she had, they would have already been awake. Last nights events shook them up pretty bad. Some were able to sleep for maybe thirty minutes before waking up again. The shock was pretty bad. That's what happens when you see a superhero bleeding out on the floor from a gunshot wound. It gets worse when said superhero is your classmate/friend.
They all got up and took showers to try to wake up. It was really quiet between the teens as opposed to their normally energetic selves. On top of that, they were extremely sore from the day before. They walked wordlessly to the kitchen. They sat at the table without food. None of them had much of an appetite. The silence was broken by Wanda walking up to them.
"Hey guys. Come with me." She said, tiredly. They all took notice to her tired appearance. She was in sweatpants and a T-shirt, her hair was tangled. The teens wondered what the rest of the Avengers looked like right about now. They followed her wordlessly into the elevator. The only noise was the sound of the elevator humming as it moved and the soft beeps as the floor number changed.
When the elevator came to a stop, they followed Wanda out and into a conference looking room. It was very large with windows for natural light along with regular lights. There was what looked like a stage with chairs lined up in front of the stage. The Avengers were sitting on the edge of the stage, feet dangling off, looking exhausted and stressed. Wanda joined them beside Vision and Strange. The teens finally got a good look at them as they sat down.
Everyone looked so tired. Their hair was a mess, all of them were in casual wear, including Pepper and Tony. Vision was the only one who looked decent. Probably because he wasn't really human... The worst out of them was Tony. His hair looked like he had run his hands through it a couple thousand times. His eyes had bags under them and you could see the faint stain of blood on his hands. MJ took notice of that.
"Despite last nights events..." Pepper started. "Today, you guys can ask us anything you'd like." She said with a small smile. The teens exchanged looks between each other.
"It just seems weird..." Ned spoke up. The other teens murmured in agreement. The Avengers exchanged looks between each other. Tony sighed.
"Look. The kid has been through worse. Once Cho got the bullet out, he started to heal. And he heals way faster than normal." He explained, trying to make the situation a bit more bearable. It was silent again.
"Then why are you guys so stressed out?" Charles asked nervously. In any other situation, he wouldn't have straight up asked that, but everyone here was tired. Natasha answered his question.
"Peter rarely comes to us for help when he gets hurt. It's just how he is, so we never really see how bad it is because he's already mostly healed." She explained.
"And believe it or not, he's been hurt at least two other times during this trip." Clint added. Everyone looked at him.
"What do you mean? He's gotten hurt once. What else happened?" Shuri asked lowly. Clint forced a chuckle. (In all honesty, I forgot she was here. RIP)
"He may or may not have fallen out of the window... forcefully." The room exploded with questions. "HE WAS FINE!! He had his web shooters." Clint said innocently. Tony scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"So, on top of getting stabbed and shot, you pushed him out of a window." Wanda said. It was more of a statement than a question. The teenagers exploded once again.
