"payton, please stay with me!" I say as we were racing to the hospital
"can you please go faster!" I yell at joey
"i'm trying but the speed limit isn't past 100 mph"
I groan and I keep looking at Payton awareless of what to do.

"ba- baby" he says
"payt I'm here don't worry" I say with tears streaming down my eyes
"i- i love you jess" he says palming my face
"I love you too payt. I love you so so much, but please you have to keep your eyes open for me" I say as we pull up to the E.R

I get out the car "please help us my boyfriend got shot!" I yell while joey gets him out of the car.
a nurse gets a stretcher and sets him down "200 cc of oxygen!" a doctor yells as they run to the surgery room I'm guessing.

as I follow them a nurse stops me "ma'am I'm sorry but you'll have to stay in the waiting room" she says
"no I can't! that's my boyfriend and I need to stay with him!" I yell at her
"ma'am I'm sorry but-"
"c'mon let's go jess" joey says grabbing me
"I can't I gotta- I gotta stay with him I need him" I say and after that I burst out crying on joey's chest
"shh it's okay, it's okay I got you" he says while rubbing my back

three hours later
it's already 6 am and I haven't heard anything from the doctors or nurses and I'm starting to get impatient.

"there you go" joey says handing me a coffee.
"thanks" I say as I start to sip it [tf it looks like I'm drinking wine BITCH- XHDTBDHC]

"he's gonna be okay." he says and I nod "everyone from the house sends their love and prayers"
"thank you joey forreal" I say looking at him
"for what?"
"for being here, thank you" I say hugging him.

"here for payton jay moormeier?" I quickly stand up "yes. how is he?"

"he is stable.." the doctor say
"why does it look like there is a 'but'?" joey says
"he has an internal hemorrhage in his liver. but nothing to worry about, he can take a surgery and we could stitch it" the doctor says

"okay okay so do I need to sign something-"
"um excuse me ma'am but are you a close parent?" he asks
"no what do you mean I'm his girlfriend"
"erm sorry ma'am but only close parent can decide what to do when the patient isn't eighteen yet" he says walking away

"okay okay umm.. joanne! joanne..joanne" I say sitting down as I scroll down through my contacts. I place my phone on the ear and wait for joanne to pick up the phone.
"come on come on"
*phone call*
"hello?"
"um hi joanne it's jessica"
"oh! hi jessica! how are you?"
"i'm good but payton's not"
"what do you mean?"
"um. are you in LA right now?"
"yes, yes I am but what happened you're scaring me jessica"
"can you please just come at the Saint Paul's hospital is at the crossroads of Baton rouge and Venice beach"
"okay okay I will be right there" she says hanging up
*end of phone call*

"what did she say?" joey asks
"she is on her way" I say falling asleep on his shoulder

"um hello excuse me I'm looking for my son payton. payton moormeier. where is he?" I hear a voice. I quickly get up and run towards joanne and hug her.
"hey joanne" I say pulling away
"what happened please tell me"
"there isn't an easy way to say this but joanne, payton got shot."
"wait. what? how?" she says starting to freak out
"a psycho got in the house yesterday with a gun and payton was trying to protect all of us.." I say
"i- i need to see him now!" joanne says getting up
"excuse me ladies and gentleman you are able to see payton now. follow me" a nurse says.
we follow her in payton's room and I see him laying there with his eyes open and a pale face, I hate seeing him like this.
"hey" he says in a fainted and sleepy voice
"hey man" joey says dabbing him
"how are you feeling?" he says
"like I just got shot" he says chuckling
"hey babygirl. come here" payt says opening his arms. I go towards him and hug him. he winces
"did I hurt you?" I ask
"no no I'm good don't worry" he says and pecks me on the lips I smile and sit next to joey.

"hey momma" payt says
"how are you holding up sweetie?" joanne says caressing his face and kissing him everywhere possible on the face except on the lips cause baybee that's my property
"mom, mom i'm good" he says smiling. gosh that smile.
"payton jay moormeier what is going on on your social medias?" joanne says
"what do you mean?" payt says
"people are assuming that you smoke" joanne says showing payton her phone. there was a tiktok of payt 'dancing' and smoking apparently but there was no cigarette or juul. but if I gotta be honest bro in that tiktok he was hot as a mf.

"mom I would've told you if I did" he says
"then what is this coming out your mouth?" she says
"as I remember your room isn't cold"
"mom I don't smoke chill" payt says
"look me in the eyes and tell me you don't do it" joanne says
and the room was dead silent for a minute
"exactly as I thought" joanne says
"I think we should leave them alone" i say as I drag jo out of the room.

"I know I know babygirl. let it all out for me" he says and I let everything out as he lays down next to me.
"I missed that" he says trying to catch his breath
"me too" I say laying on his chest
"let's get married" he says and I laugh
"yea sure" I say getting up
"no, where are you going" he says laying me back down "I didn't say I finished yet" he smirks
he goes under the sheets and start to do a figure 8 on my kitty and bro let me tell you his tongue is magnificent.
he inserted two fingers in me without warning and I gasped
"oh my god" I breathed out
he came back up and started to kiss me harshly while holding my neck
"you like that huh?" he whispered in my ear
"mmhmm" I nodded
"I need to hear that" he says sliding into me as I gasped
"fuck! yes daddy I like it" I say grabbing onto the sheets as he thrusted into me faster and harder as he left hickeys on my neck and collarbone

"I love you too payt" I say as I slowly reached my climax
"go ahead baby. I'm right behind you"
I came and he did too
"oohh" I breathed out
"that was.." he said speechless
"amazing, awesome, good, marvelous there are a lot of adjectives you could use" I say smiling
"all of them" he says kissing me softly as I get carried away
"uh uh I'm not going for a round three thank you but no thanks" I say backing him away
"ugh" he says laying back down
"payt is 3 pm we have to get up" he groans and I get up falling back down my on the ground and he laughs
"instead of laughing come here and help your sexy ass girlfriend getting up thanks" oh yes um we made it official that was one week ago but details.
he got surgery ,got out the hospital and fixed things with his mom (she said that he could do it but not to exaggerate because that killed his uncle and that I should keep my eyes on him)  two weeks ago and proposed on the beach the 31st of may.
yea I know that's a lot to take in but we still here.
I hear the click of a lighter a couple of time and turn my head
"what are you doing?" I ask
"smoking..?" he says
"payt you already did one this morning" I say crossing my arm
"bae it's okay" he says putting it down
and coming towards me. he picks me up and carries me to the shower. he undresses me and looks at me while doing that
"I did not ask you to do all of this" I say
"I assumed it" he smirks
"well stop assuming" I say lightly pushing him off and getting in the shower
