Ariel's Pov
"Lights out girls" says Julie the Foster Care lady. I get up and turn the lights off because the girls just stared at me to do it, I'm practically their slave! I can't wait until I'm 18, that's when I can leave this place. Its quite late... My eyes start to drifting away.
"Wake up!" Julie yells through the house, I wake up go have a shower, get dressed into black muscle T and white shorts and go down stairs where all the other kids are from ages 6-17 there are about 25 kids living here. I walk to the dining area the older kids are placing food on the table, I grab the cereal and milk and make well cereal. I'm the only kid eating other then 4 older kids, I get along with the older kids better I have no idea why I just do.
"How are you Ariel" Bailee asks
"Yeah just being an orphan, you?" I ask eating a scoop of cereal
"Awh little bubs" Tori says hugging me from the side
"Tori I know you think I'm little but I'm not" I say looking at her
"Well your our adopted child" Bailee says
"Thank god, if you guys do the... You know please use protection I don't want to be baby sitting" I say, they have wide eyes and Lauren and Koby are having a laughing with tears in there eyes.
"So where are we going today?" I ask
"To the movies, we did some cleaning to we got some money from Julie" Lauren says
"Yeah I have 20 bucks from cleaning" I say
"Well lets go get ready" Koby says, we all nod and put our plates and stuff washed and put away. We start to walk up stairs but Julie stops me in my tracks.
"Ariel we have someone that wants to meet you" Julie says and turns my shoulders to the office and we start to walk in, I see 4 guys.
"Julie you said someone not a group" I whisper to her she just laughs and sits me down on the other side of the desk.
"Hi I'm Cameron" a young man says, his looks his in his twenties
"Hi I'm Hayes" a boy says he looks 16 but sounds 14ish
"Hi I'm Nash" a teen or a adult says I can't tell he looks 17 or 19.
"Hello" I say
"Ariel these young men want to adopt you" Julie says then they want to bring me back and leave me here, I bet just like everyone else.
"Okay, do I go get my stuff?" I ask Julie
"Yes dear" she says
I walk up stairs and call for Lauren, Koby, Bailee and Tori.
"Guys I'm getting adopted" I say
"Really" Lauren says
"Really" I say, they all hug me.
"I'll miss our little sister" Bailee says
"Same" the 3 other say, Lauren, Tori and I have a few tears. I walk into the room grab my clothes and put then in my school back pack and walked down stairs in the office.
Cameron's Pov
"I bet you can't even look after a child" Carter says, we keep talking to everyone but what Carter said sticks in my head. Thats it. Im going to adopt a child, its not bad because they need a family and My self and the rest of Magcon will be the best family. I walk up stairs grab my wallet, phone and car keys and then walk down stairs.
"Where are you going?" Nash asks
"Going to adopt a child" I say and keep walking out the door
"I'm coming!" Hayes yells and comes into the car
"Cam what are we actually going to do" Hayes says
"Adopt a child" I say, the rest of the car ride is quite. We pull up to the orphanage and get out of the car
"Man do you really want to do this?" Nash asks
"Yeah, they need families and we are making that happen" I say walking towards the door
"What ages?" Hayes says behind Nash and I
"8-14" i say
"Thats weird, because you would have been young to do the deed" Nash says laughing
"Thats a good age, I don't care" I say and walk into the orphanage office. Their is a middle age women there.
"Hello are you guys here to adopt" she asks
"Yes I am" I say
"Okay well what ages are you going for?" She asks
"Between 8 and 14 please" I say and she hand me a book. I sit down with Nash and Hayes on the seats. I'm on the 3 page on 12-13 year olds, I see a girl. Her names Ariel and shes 13. I tell Nash and Hayes they agree. Not to sound weird but she was a very gorgeous.
"Did you guys see anyone in mind?" She asks
"Yes, Ariel?" I ask
"Oh shes a quiet girl at first but once you get to know her she has one of personalities where everyone adores, she also is quite sassy and funny" she says
"Sounds perfect" I say
"Okay I will go get her" she says and walks to a back room which I think is connected to the orphanage home. She comes back with Ariel shes quite short like 5'1. She whispers something to the lady and she laughs and sits her down.
"Hi I'm Cameron" I say
"Hi I'm Hayes" Hayes says
"Hi I'm Nash" Nash says
"Hello" she says
"Ariel these young men want to adopt you" the lady says
"Do you want me to get my stuff?" She asks
"Yes dear" she says, Ariel walks to the back room while I sign forms. She comes back just as I finish.
"Ready?" I ask
"Yeah, bye Julie" she hugs Julie and we walk out to the car, we get in. I get in the drivers eat, Nash in the passenger and Hayes and Ariel in the back.
"So what is my last name?" She asks
"My last name, Dallas" I respond
"Do you want me to call you Cameron or Dad" she asks
"Whatever one your comfortable with sweetheart" I say
"Dad it is" she giggles, Shawn's song comes on, The weight and Ariel starts to sing quietly but not realising that we can hear her. The song stops
"Wow" Hayes says
"Double Wow" Nash says
"You sing?" I say
"Only sometimes" she says still looking out if the window
"We're here" I say and she turns her head to the front of the car, Nash opens the door for her and she jumps out
"This is your house?" She ask with her jaw dropped
"Yeah, but there are more people here living with us" Nash says
"Cool more fun" she says walking over to the back of the car where I am taking out her bags
"Here, i'll take them" she says to me
"It's alright, why don't you go in side and Hayes will introduce you to everyone" I say
"Yeah come on" Hayes says
