Chapter 4

Kenzie's pov.

I woke up this morning to find Ruby laying on my legs and Johnny next to me curled up into a ball, shirtless as always, his head resting on my lap, hugging my waist. I look around the room and see Mandla in my egg chair in the corner of the room.

I see Lauren layed on the ground next to Nadia and I look to the other side of the room to see Jules sitting on her phone next to a sleeping Hayden.

"Jules?" I groan, rubbing my eyes as I sit up. "What time is it??" I ask.
"Around 11:30" Jules shrugs "why??"

"Julessss" I whine.
"Whattttt" she mocks.
"I told them we'd go to Disney at
noon" I respond
"Oh shit you're right." She says.

"WAKE UP!!!" She yells at everyone.
"Jules what the hell?!" Hayden yells, throwing the pillow from under his head at her face.

"COME ON Y'ALL WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY IN 30!!!" She yells, ignoring Hayden's remark.

"WHAT?!" Nadia shouts, jumping up. "I DON'T HAVE TIME TO DO MY MAKEUP AND MY HAIR AND WHAT ABOUT BREAKFAST!?" The redhead shouts once again.

"Ow!" Lauren yells, rubbing her shoulder where Nadia rolled her over into the corner of the table nearby.
"Sorry Laur." She says.

"Jeez could y'all be louder?" Mandla asks with all the attitude in the freaking universe. I roll my eyes and lean over, shaking Ruby's shoulder lightly.

"Come on Rubes you gotta get up." I whisper to her, and she groans, rolling over slightly. "Ruby... Muffin come on." She slowly wakes up. I remove Johnny's head from my lap and play with his hair lightly. "Come on Juan get up"

"Mmm" he makes muffled noises as I urge him to get up once again. "Good morning." He says, looking up at me once he's finally awake.

"Good morning sleepy head" I tease and he scrunches up his nose slightly and I laugh.

"Good morning lovebirds" Ruby greets us and I blush slightly, sending her a glare.

"Alrighty, up ya go" Jules says, pulling us each up from our current spots.
"Soo guys we go to Disney around noon so get ready I guess." I say, shrugging.

"Jesus if I wasn't already awake, you would've woken me up." Maddie says as me and John walk downstairs, letting the others get ready.

"Sorry Mads." I respond "mom home?"
"She left for work early this morning. What's wrong with Jules?" She asks.

"She decided that was the nicest way to wake us up. Thank God I'm a heavy sleeper." Johnny responds and I lightly chuckle.

"Pfff Yeah and your tired ass didn't wake up until I started playing with your hair." I tease him.
"Hey I feel touch more in my sleep than hear anything." He explains and I nod.

"So did y'all have fun last night?" Mads coughs.
"Oh uh yeah it was pretty fun. Just the gang, a bunch of ice cream, the notebook, and a trip to target." I say, and chuckle a little.

"Sounds fun." Maddie says.
"Where's the advil?" John asks and I laugh.
"The downstairs bathroom." I say and he nods walking down the hallway.

"Sooooo" Maddie sings, giving me a questioning look.
"What??" I ask.
"That's code for 'is Jenzie real yet?' Duhhh" I hear a voice behind me, I see Ruby and Hayden enter the kitchen.

Ruby was wearing a white tank top and ripped jeans and Hayden was wearing shorts and an Under Armor t shirt.

"Uhhh no?" I respond and Maddie and Ruby sigh as Hayden rolls his eyes, getting out pop tarts.
"Kenzie, are y'all ever gonna cut the bs and get together?" Hayden asks, sassily.
