Chaper 3 - "Rise and Shine"

  The next morning you wake up to the sound of knocking on your newest room door,  you lay quiet for a few more seconds then yelling 'come in' to the person at the other side of the door. As soon as Gaster walks in holding a plate of food in his hands, your face turns to complete shock. He hands you the plate then walks other to the other side of the bed sitting himself down. Slightly rubbing his eyes he asks:

"Are you not going to eat? I'll eat it myself."
 
  You snap out of your shock and start eating the eggs and bacon that was on the plain white plate. You and Gaster talk for a bit while you ate your breakfast that was surprisingly good. After a while of talking Gaster gets up telling taking your plate and tells you to 'get dressed and head down to the lab' he'd be waiting down there for you. You step onto the light gray carpet, walking to the closet to open the sliding black doors. As you slide them open it was full of dark  colored clothing and shoes. As you put on the black short sleeve shirt, along with light gray jeans with black heels. You begin to walk down the hallway from your room to the kitchen. Since you where alone and it was only your second day working for Gaster you weren't exactly familiar with the large home Gaster lived in- alone. I mean he is the Royal scientist. You surprisingly find your way back to the lab, opening the door the see Gaster already working on something.

"Is there anything you need today?"

  You ask hoping he didn't need anything surprisingly he didn't, you start walking back to your lab; watching the lights as you walked hoping today was going to be a good day. Approaching the door you take a deep breath. Opening the white
door you walk in turning on the lights then sitting down at your desk opening the newest folder of a project to start on. As you read through the materials needed you get up walking around looking for them, once you find them you go to the test tubes pulling over a stool sitting down. Pouring in the unknown liquid into the tube, then another causing it to change color. You smile at what you've created, you hear a knock on the door then see Gaster walk in smiling.

"I see you got started on your newest assignment, any difficulties so far?"

You smile, getting up walking towards Gaster. Stopping half way due to another shiver down your spine. As if it was a warning? You change your mind and walk back to the dest you where at sitting back down.

"Is there something wrong (y/n)?"

You look up as he called you by your name without 'Miss'. Getting up again, you stood there holding a list reading while speaking.

"Ah, no Gaster sir, I'm just surprised your calling me my name without 'miss' in front of it, but please continue saying that it makes me feel like I'm more welcome. "

You walk up to Gaster still holding up the paper. Once seeing his black shoes, you look up smiling.

"Could say the same for you, just call me Gaster, that would mean a lot."

You agree walking back over to your desk, leaving Gaster to walk back down the hall. Minutes pass with you starting to feel sleepy, laying your head into the wooden desk covered in papers you fall asleep leaving Gaster to think you where already back in your room.
