I've always wanted to tackle Azur Lane. It has been requested for months and months and this is me going at it with the least amount of research. Obviously chime in here and there.

I got together with two apprentices and here we go for some ship girls and eventually some yurification.

We are only made for one reason. At least that's what I had in mind for all this time. There are many that have their moments and war is a daily topic of conversation. Over coffee or tea, near the water, or on a nice day getting some fresh air and eyeing the view. This was the life. I'm a battleship. So is my sister.

In a room at a desk is a woman about 5'4" with dark brown hair andlight brown eyes. She wore a tight white blouse with a tight black skirt along with tan colored kicks. Pretty features that she didn't see in herself and compared to the others wasn't wearing the skirts or elegant clothing.

My name is Fairfield. My sister back at home is Haven. Throughout history Connecticut isn't known for much. You have rich people moving there, one university that's known, the hamburger origin, and that's it. You don't see a fighter out there. Just like Connecticut's history meaning anything significant. No people that mattered and nothing worth mentioning.

Then there was all the setbacks. It began with Eagle Union and their plan. Commander wanted to try something different. It went from weaponry, to mechanics, and this caused trouble. I was put on the backburner on different occasions. There were repairs being made constantly. I felt fragile as glass at times I was hesitant to even hug my sister. My weapon changes, cannon malfunctions, nearly anything obvious one could think of. I'm almost in a museum.

After all the years of being put behind, I finally got my chance. My chance to he free and be able to take the battle. With Eagle Union and Royal Navy in bed with other it was hard finding out from the outside what was truly going on. What was next was unpredictable. It was taken day by day. Whether it was something rumored in the dining hall or from other ships get repair ships. From Brooklyn to Nevada and everything around and further.

It's just like what I heard from Enterprise the only time she came around. Be the best. We are made to fight. And fight until there is nothing left. Because if we don't fight then what good are we? I am willing to fight any way I can. By going in head first and making it or breaking myself in half. That's the bottom line and how I lived by. Regardless is my older sister Haven tries to hold me back.

Enterprise was having tea with Belfast and Cleveland. They were going over a recent rescue mission during a storm. All three were happy as today was free of any conflict. No news is always good news. It means no reports, no suspicious activity sighted, and to dat everything is in proper order. Which was rare for the three of them. It was nearly an off day.

"Well Miss Enterprise, the wonderful day helps the tired body. Correct?"

"Yes Belfast. It does. I'm feeling rather good today. On high alert, but can't help but feel comfortable. Rare feeling." Replied Enterprise.

"Speaking of, did you hear about who's coming soon?" Asked Cleveland.

"What's going on?"

"One of the Connecticut sisters."

"Really? I say. Where have I heard this before?" Belfast was pondering the thought. "Wasn't one on standby due to repairs and mechanical malfunction?"

"That's Fairfield. Her sister is Haven."

Enterprise was trying to remember back. "Brown hair and tight pants? I think I know her."

"You do? What's she like?"

"I couldn't tell. She was so frustrated by all her setbacks it was very hard to tell. When under all of those emotions it's hard."

"Agreed."

"Still. Wales at the moment is calling the shots. She has others close by. But right now I think if anyone is going to jump the gun, it's Fairfield. Cut through, shot through, that's her. How good she will be is another story. But the concept of her running full speed at it is a problem."

"My oh my. Good gracious." Sweatdropped Belfast. "And here I imagined you were bad at one point." She looked over at Enterprise.

"I'm not bad." She huffed.

"Going into battle at 50% or less at times?" Questioned Cleveland. "Jury is out on that."

"Still." Sighed Enterprise. "I do wonder how she is. Is see you and the other girls with smiles and laughs. I wonder how she is. Fairfield can't have a chip on her shoulder right?"

"Sometimes a chip in both shoulders and they just want to bull-rush every objective." Belfast poured more tea. "Shall I look into it?"

"Please."

This isn't exactly an Edge Lord character. It's someone going full steam ahead for reasons of existing, having no fear, being caged up and wanting to be free, and feeling useful.

Any questions let me know.
