Eleven people were in the small office talking, yelling, and arguing back and forth. Five students, Five parents, and the principal. Carson and Emilia were defending themselves, yelling at their parents and insulting the principal.

"THAT IS ENOUGH! YOU'RE LUCKY YOU GUYS DIDN'T GET EXPELLED. YOU WANT TO GO TO THE GARRISON?" Shiro yelled.

"YOU MEAN WHERE YOU ARE? FUCK NO!" Emilia yelled back louder at her father.

"WATCH YOUR MOUTH!" Shiro demanded.

"IN CASE YOU FORGOTTEN I'M NINETEEN. BESIDES, YOU FUCKHEADS DON'T EVEN KNOW THE FULL STORY." Emilia stated and left the office, slamming the door in the process.

"I'm willing to bet you guys think we're at fault because Cody and I were foster kids, as if we're delinquents ." Carson mumbled but everyone heard, including his dads, Keith and Lance.

"That's not what we think at all. What the hell brought that up?" Keith asked, confused and hurt.

"Oh really? Fucking prove it." Carson muttered right before he got up from his seat and leaving the same way as Emilia.

The parents looked at the remaining three with a look saying 'who's next to scream and leave?' Drayvin put his hands up in defense and went after Carson and Emilia.

Cordelia was frustrated. She didn't know what to say or do. She wanted to yell but she didn't want to hurt her dad. Instead, she shook her head and left, but if anyone looked at her, they'd know she was on the verge of tears.

Cody was the only one left. A single tear rolled down her cheek.

"They are right. Maybe not the way they said it, or yelling, or leaving, but they are right." She said.

Flashback

Emilia, Cordelia, and Cody were at a lunch table eating while Drayvin and Carson were still in the line, laughing at something that the girls assumed was stupid. Cody soon realizes a group of four students coming towards them. She groaned.

"What?" Cordelia asked.

"Just four annoying ticks with very original names." Cody said, rolling her eyes.

The girls look toward the group. All four of them were siblings, one in each grade.

Beckett, the only boy.

Bethany, the bitch.

Bridget, the know-it-all.

And Brooke, the youngest.

"Hey girls, looks like Carson is back from juvie. Cody, Emilia, are your parents in prison yet? Fucking psychos." Bethany asked with an overly obnoxious voice.

"Excuse me?" Emilia asked, anger rising in her. Even if her relationship with her father was rough, she still loved him, and wasn't about to let a brat talk shit about him.

"Oh, yeah. Cody has fags for parents. Explains a lot, doesn't it?" Bridget states.

"What the hell?" Cody muttered, gripping her plate, ready to chuck it at someone's face.

"Oh, and Cordelia, sweet, sweet, Cordelia. You learned that from him, huh? At least you ain't a fat pig like him. I'm surprised that you were born. Seeing how ugly he was makes me wonder how someone fell in love with him. It had to be someone with no values or good taste, so it had to be someone who was just as much as a waste of space. Wait, no. I get it now. It was your mother after all." Bridget explained.

Cordelia stayed silent and stared at her food as if it was going to do a trick so Emilia spoke up.

"What the fuck is wrong with you? Her mom died when she was nine. You guys are so messed up in the head. You want attention because you are basic for some fucking reason. At least our parents care and love us. We aren't going around, talking crap about the dead so they have to be doing something right. IF YOU WANT ATTENTION, GET INTERESTING, BECAUSE RIGHT NOW, YOU ARE ACTING LIKE CLICHE FUCKHEADS THAT NEED A FUCKING LIFE!" she yelled.

"Like father like daughter. Yelling and causing a commotion. You are probably just as crazy as him. Cordelia is a silent pushover. I'm guessing that's just like your dad. And Cody, I feel sorry for you. Being in foster care, knowing nobody will ever love you, except maybe your brother, but he's psycho. Your 'parents' probably know you and Carson are fuck ups, delinquents. It's just a matter of time before they abandon you as well." Beckett stated.

By now all three girls were standing, and Carson and Drayvin were there.

"I could say the same about you and your psycho sisters." Carson said.

Beckett nodded his head, waited a few seconds, pulled his fist back, and used full force which caused Carson's head to snap back when it hit.

"Oh shit." Drayvin said.

Emilia slapped Bridget for what she said earlier and they started to punch and kick one another while Carson and Beckett were doing the same.

Cody found this an opening to get revenge on Bethany for all of the bullshit she pulled.

"I am not doing that." Brooke stated, while looking at the six teens on the floor, rolling around while Drayvin was trying to stop everyone.

Cordelia looked at her with disbelief. "For once, we actually agree on something. I need to check my brain." She stated. Brooke just rolled her eyes.

"WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON IN HERE?" Mr. Castro, the principal, yelled throughout the cafeteria. Everyone immediately got off one another and stood up.

"I want you, you, you, you, and you." Mr. Castro said, pointing to Cody, Carson, Emilia, Drayvin, and Cordelia.

"Why? Cordelia didn't do anything and Drayvin was trying to stop us. What about them? They started it." Cody stated.

"I'll deal with them later. Right now I want you five to come with me." He ordered.

They followed Mr. Castro to his office and waited for their parents to come.

End of flashback.

Cody looked at each adult except the principal then focused on her dads. "I'll find Carson and go to the car." She said.

Cody looked around for everyone else and found them in a girls bathroom that nobody used anymore. Cordelia was crying on Emilia's shoulder while Drayvin was trying to keep Carson from breaking anything.

Cody, being the mold of the group that made everything better, was troubled. What was she supposed to do this time? She had no clue.

"Carson, we need to go. Once you feel better Cordelia, I suggest that you and Em go back. Same with you Drayvin." Cody said, with a voice so soft she didn't know if the heard her.

Apparently they did because Drayvin sighed and put a hand on Cordelia's shoulder, a sign of showing he's there for her and left. Emilia nodded while gently rubbing the crying girl's back. Carson, still pissed off, huffed and left while Cody followed.

"Where are we meeting them? The office or the car?" He asked, trying to control his emotions.

"The car." Once again, her voice was soft.
