Chapter Fourteen

Maddie POV

Dance season is over , now it's time for nationals in cheer. I went to cheer practice with Lexi and Jailee and one of the flyers got hurt so Coach Daphne yelled stuff like "She's hurt now how are we gonna go to nationals with no flyer" over and over. I felt bad for that girl because she was like 6. She was a good cheerleader if she was on Junior Elite Silver. I don't cheer anymore but i did for a while. My sisters volunteered me and Coach Daphne asked if I had experience. Then she told me to go up in the stunt. I always where spandex so it wasn't a problem. I hit the stunt "perfectly" according to the coach. So I got fitted for everything and out came in just in time. Now it's competition time. My mom and some other cheer moms put money together to buy a van for some of us to ride together. It's going to be Ava , Miley ,  Olivia , Chasidee , Kareen , Destyn , and us .The competition is in 2 days but we're leaving tonight because it's a long drive.

Lexi POV

I'm so nervous for this competition because my stunt group hasn't doing good so anything could ruin our routine. The whole team would have to face the consequences and I would have to live with the fact that MY group ruined our chance at winning.

Jailee POV

I'm so excited for this competition. Because I get a solo routine to represent my team. If I win , this will be my 3rd solo win in a row. This time Isaiah is coming. He wants to see me preform but he's scared to meet my parents. He said he's more afraid of my dad.

YN POV

These girls have been driving me crazy about this competition. We're leaving in 30 minutes and they're not even halfway packed. This is ridiculous. Including Lexi , Maddie , and Jailee , there's 9 girls. All but Kareen is here but she's on her way. Jailee convinced Miley and Olivia to help her pack. She finished about 5 minutes ago. Ava is supposedly helping Lexi but every time they're supposed to be doing something productive they talk so it takes forever. Maddie said she's done she , but she wants to pack her own snacks.

YN: *yelling upstairs* Alexis , hurry up

Lexi: *grabbing everything* Coming

Ashton: Bye babe *kisses her forehead* See your there *yelling* C'mon Trin

Trinity: *runs to the door and hugs YN legs* Bye mommy

YN: *picks her up and kisses her cheek* Bye , Trini *puts her down* Can you go tell Lexi to hurry up

Trinity: Mkay *yelling while going upstairs to Lexi's room* Lexi , mommy said hurry

YN: Why y'all leaving before us

Ashton: So I can get me and my baby some snacks

YN: Oh but be careful with my child. Don't give get to much to drink. She needs to drink water , Gatorade or Powerade

Ashton: *laughs* Baby girl , she needs a break from that. She's three she shouldn't have to base everything off of gymnastics

YN: Well she needs to stay in shape so nothing fattening

Maddie POV

It's our time to go on the floor. I'm so nervous because I haven't done this in a while. I'm a dancer not a cheerleader but I'm trying to calm down. Then I heard the announcer.

Announcer: Please welcome Miami Cheer Junior Elite

Crowd: *applauding*

My was beating fast then our music began and the routine went perfectly. Nobody missed their cue , no stunts fell , nobody got hurt.

We won nationals! I kind of miss this feeling of victory.
