I was awakened by a familiar voice.
"Break fast is ready," the voice said.
I then recognized the voice to be that of Terra, my newest and only friend I have since I woke up in this new world. I stumbled upon my legs and walked over to where Terra was.
I was delighted to be met by a steaming-hot, sweet-smelling bowl of soup.
"It's my specialty, mushroom soup," she said.
"Thanks a lot, Terra," I replied with a smile on my face. I turned to the bowl and placed my mouth in it. I didn't take it out until I had drunk every last drop out of the bowl.
"You have quite an appetite, you Mudkip," she said with a smile on her face,"We have a long day ahead of us, we're going to the Pokémon Academy now. I think they can help you with your , errr ... problem."
I didn't know what the pokemon academy was but Terra was the only one I knew so I had to trust her. "OK, I'm ready now," I told her as I took up the bowl in my mouth and carried it over to her. She took it from me and carried it somewhere outside.
"OK , you can come out now, I,m ready," she called from outside. I quickly walked outside to see her standing at the start of a dirt path that led out into something , that from here, looked like a town. "Just follow me, I'll lead to the Pokemon academy in Treasure Town."
I hope they can explain my problem. I thought as we walked along the dusty road, with my head facing down. I just couldn't stand it. Yes, I am thankful for what Terra has done for me. She took me as a stranger in her own house and took care of me. She is the only one I can trust in this new world.
"Look, we've reached Treasure Town," she introduced," the city where riches lie." The first thing I noticed was that I was now walking on a paved path now. I lifted my head and looked around to see a beautiful town. I saw a lot of shops such as flower shops, food shops, there was even a bank owned by a ghost which I suspected was a pokemon. I stood there just taking in everything that was happening.
"OK, star gazer, you've seen enough now lets go to pokemon mansion now," Terra said breaking my gazing. We walked right through the hustle and bustle of town, bumping into pokemon every here and there, stopping sometimes to look at things on sale.
We finally arrived at a building. I had remember seeing it but had not taken note of. It was a small , white, cubed-shaped building that was surrounding by tall brick walls on each side. At the front stood a silver gate. I turned and looked at Terra who was staring at the gate. "So, what now ter... ," I was cut of by the creak of the gate. I spun around to see the gate slowly opening.
When the gate opened enough, we walked on the cobblestone path that led to the door of the building. I approached the housing with a strange felling. I couldn't tell if it was fear or anxiety. Terra bravely stepped up do the wooden door and knocked on it. To my surprise, the door opened leisurely. The door revealed a single white, well lit room.
"Hello anybody home," I called but got no response. I turned to Terra and she was as astonished as me. "Wow, so this the pokemon mansion?" I told Terra sarcastically.
"I...I...don't know," she said," my mother said this is the way to the pokemon mansion. If I wanted help I should come here."
"Oh, you want help," a voice said," why didn't you say that." I looked around, only to see a Wierd looking pokemon levitating in the centre of the room.
"Wow, azelf, the pokemon of willpower ," Terra said in amazement. She was staring wildly at the mysterious pokemon.
"So, you want to go to the pokemon academy," it said," what for? It better not be pety matters."
I looked at Terra to see what she would do. She looked back at me with the same look in her eyes as last night when she I told her about my problem. She then walked over to azelf and whispered something to him. It was annoying to not know what they were talking about.
"Really," Azelf blurted out," just like him, on the beach and everything. Well we need to carry him to the pokemon academy right away. Come Mudkip, it's time to go, now.
Without hesitation I walked over to were they were and he placed one of his tentacle/ paw/ hand thing on each of us. We instantly disappeared and reappeared in a strange black and white column. My feet weren't on the ground and I was moving, I was levitating just like azelf. I tried changing direction but couldn't.
"Terra where are we," I asked. Terra was just going with the flow. "Azelf is teleporting us to the pokemon academy. This might take a while so hang tight, she said with a cute smile on her face.
I couldn't hold it back anymore I had to ask. "Terra, what were you and azelf talking about ?" She didn't answer, she just looked at azelf and told him," Azelf , explain it to him."
Azelf turned around and looked at me," OK, It's about time you here what's going on. You see, hundreds of years ago there was a Totodile who woke up on a beach in another region's treasure town. He had lost his memory, as you have, and met a chim char who carried him to wigglytuff 's guild."
"What's wigglytuff's guild?" I asked.
"It was a place where they trained exploration teams that went out in to something called mystery dungeons. It is like the old version of the pokemon academy." Terra explained."
"Yes, that's it. The Totodile had dreams telling him he was the chosen one." a elf contiñued
Dreams? just like mine I taught.
"Turns out he was, in fact, a chosen one. He was the one who solved a great mystery of time to save the world. We call it 'The exploration of Time'. He fought great pokemon such as Dialga, Palkia and Darkai. He was one of the greatest warriors I had met."
"Wow," I said in awe," I had a dream just last night too. It was a voice it didn't say much ?" I told azelf and explained the dream to her," And one more thing, how does this have to do with me."
"Well, Aqui (They had figured that was my name) we think... you are the chosen one."
Chosen one? How ? Could I? This was totally shocking. I don't know who I am and suddenly I was to save the world.
"You're scared, I can sense it , don't be, you don't have to fight Dialga or Palkia or Darkai , all their problems are settled. You're task will be revealed over time."
I was relieved and surprised at the same time. I was finally getting answers to my questions but now I have even more questions.
"I should speed this up now, hold on" azelf said. Before I could question what to hold on to, we were off at the speed of light.
