She ran. She ran so fast that she forgot what she was running from. She forgot that she was in pain but all she knew was she's afraid. She thought of Andre, Keithie, Greg and Donna. How they were probably worried about her as she's far from the time she told them she would be there. She saw Keithie's house and her pain started to come to her.

She climbed up the ladder hoping she would blend in and hoping no one would catch her. Keithie always left the window open so she got lucky. He always wondered how she would sneak into his house and his window is the answer. She jumped after she stepped foot in Keithie's room with all eyes on her.

"Charlotte! What the fuck happened?" Andre asked.

"Mom- Mom and Dad found out I did drugs for a short period of time last summer and they're trying to sent me to a mental institution!" Charlotte cried, "and I was so mad I robbed a gas station." Charlotte threw the backpack she had on her on the ground, "and I was stabbed." Charlotte held her side and took off her jacket.

"Charlotte!" Keithie hissed.

"Please help. It hurts." Charlotte Cried.

They all stood still when they heard voices downstairs. 'We believe the teenage girl we are looking for is in this house'

"Please! Andre Help me!" Charlotte begged her older brother, "All of you!" Charlotte Cried Harder. Keithie picked up the bag and motioned for Charlotte to get in his closet. It was huge and messy. Keithie didn't think anyone would find her that way.

"Just bury yourself in the clothes." Keithie ordered. Charlotte wouldn't normally but she was terrified and in pain. She heard a few people come in Keithie's room. She believed it was her mom, dad and the officers who were chasing her.

"We know she's here." Charlottes mom scolded.

"She was suppose to be here. We had plans and everything. She's officially 40 minutes late." Andre started off, "What happened?" Andre asked.

"She's on drugs." Charlottes dad started off, "When we told her we were sending her away to get help she lost it and she stole my gun-"

"Wait she has a gun?" Donna shrieked. Charlotte was afraid that she would be the one to give away her cover.

"Define drugs." Andre groaned.

"Does it Matter?" His mom snapped.

"Does anyone know where she could be or who she would be with?" A deep voice spoke. It was quiet until Keithie spoke up.

"She has a hiding place about 10 minutes away from here. It's a tree house in the woods by our high school. She goes there to think, to get away from people and to-" Keithie paused, "to smoke weed."

"How do you know she smokes it there?" Keithie's dad asked.

"Because I smoked with her two or three times before." Keithie replied honestly. Charlotte couldn't help but give a soft smile at Keithie standing up for her, "I would check there." He repeated.

"Okay, we'll be back in the morning." The deep voice left the room with all the other whispers. Charlotte didn't want to blow her cover to early so she took out her phone to text Donna and Keithie.

'I'm in pain. I don't know how bad the wound is but it's becoming unbearable' Charlotte typed.

'When they leave we'll sneak you to the hospital. Hold on Charlotte' Keithie replied.

'A FUCKING GUN CHARLOTTE?' Donna texted.

'Always prepared' Charlotte responded.
