Chapter 1: All about the characters

Once upon a time in a faraway kingdom called Cordia. There was a king and queen, Queen Genevieve and King Victor that had a beautiful daughter Princess Daisy. Genevieve has blondie hair and light blue eyes and her favourite colour is purple. Victor has brown hair and blue eyes and his favourite colour is dark blue and Daisy has blondie hair just like her mother and blue eyes like her father. Daisy's favourite colour is pink and her favourite thing to do is to read science books in her room. Meanwhile, in the village, a baker and his wife gave birth to a beautiful daughter. The baker's name was Max and his wife's name was Violet and they called their daughter's name is Rose. Max had brown hair and brown eyes and Violet had red hair and blue eyes and Rose had brown hair as her father did and blue eyes as her mother had. Rose's favourite colour is light blue and her favourite thing to do is singing. Rose's parents were worried because they were so poor and how would they take care of their daughter so they started to borrowed money from a grumpy woman who owns a dress emporium and the woman is called Madame Carp. Daisy and Rose look like twins but the only difference is their hair because Daisy has blondie and Rose has brown hair but they have the same colored eyes. Daisy has a pet cat named Serafina and Rose has a pet cat named Wolfe. Serafina is a white Persian cat and Wolfe is a calico cat who barks like a dog even though he is a cat. The kingdom is getting poorer by every day and Genevieve wished that she can call on her trust adviser Preminger but he is on a trip. Preminger is an old advisor to the queen but he really wants to be king and he has two-man follow and do what he told them to do. Preminger has gray long hair and always wears a blue shirt and black trousers and brown shoes. Nick and Nack is the name of Preminger's followers and Nick has brown hair and Nack had blondie hair. Preminger has a poodle named Midas who doesn't like cats like Serafina and Wolfe. Jillian is Daisy's best friend and her tutor. Jillian has long brown hair tie with a dark blue bow in the back and always wears a blue jacket with a white shirt underneath and black trousers and brown shoes. Daisy wants to marry him but her mum will not let her because she is just worried about the kingdom and its people. King Dominick is the king of the kingdom called Dulcinea. Dominick has brown short hair and blue eyes and wears a red jacket with a white shirt underneath and black trousers and brown shoes. Berthe is the other seamstress who works for Madame Carp and Rose when she is older. King Dominick is a gentleman and romantic, who believes in true love without pretenders, which is the reason why he uses a disguise to try to get to know Rose, who he believed to be Daisy. Dominick also wishes to not marry a stranger like Daisy. He also values honesty and someone with a good heart. He is very open-minded and easygoing since he accepts strange things like a princess falling after tripping herself, a strange barking cat, about the fact that (maybe) Rose didn't mean to lie to him about her identity, Rose is trying to save the princess from with Julian and truly loves him, and be willing to play fetch with Wolfie and get to know his potential bride, which is not a traditional thing to do, especially for a royal. He is also willing to travel to another kingdom to get to know his future bride and leave his kingdom without a king to pursue true love. Although he is less formal than an average royal, he is still formal in appropriate situations, which makes him charming. He is also an understanding person since he understands Rose and her intentions and passions and is quick at picking up the fact that Rose likes the colour blue and species of roses, "Rosa centifolia". This he picked a blue rose for her, which pleased her. As a music lover, he was enchanted by Rose's voice because he could hear the goodness and uniqueness of her heart, which attracted him to her even more after having met her. He has a kind heart. King Dominick is a rich, young, and charming king. He is also very handsome and talented when it comes to playing instruments, and he can play the trumpet, the piano, and the dulcimer. Like Daisy, he hopes to find true love without any pretense thus he disguised himself as a page. He falls in love with when she is impersonating but forgives her when he finds out the truth. He saves Rose from the dungeon while under the disguise of a palace prison guard. Bertie has black hair and brown eyes and always wears the same dress since she is so poor. Madame Carp is a grumpy owner of a dress emporium. Madame Carp has a purple hair tie in a bun and brown hair and always wears a purple dress and a hat to match. Herve is a brown horse that belonged to Preminger. Hervé is kind-hearted, immediately taking a liking to Serafina. Ambassador Bismark is the Ambassador from Dulcinea that company Dominick to the castle when he meets with Daisy. Bismark has gray hair and brown eyes and he is always there to help the king with anything that he would need help with.
