TXT SHORT STORY #2 [YEONJUN]

Part 3

The first day of the field trip ended and your teacher started announcing who will be assigned in each cabin. A few minutes have passed and you still can't believe that Yeonjun was in the same cabin because the teacher said you 'can' handle it, along with 4 other boys and 2 girls. Good thing that your patience is still there and Soobin is one of the four boys other than Yeonjun.

The two girls made requests to sleep at their best friends' cabin and you let them go as long as they sleep exactly at 10 pm, the class' curfew time. You were now left along with these five boys. The second tallest one, after Soobin, plays with his packed plushies like a kid. The smallest one listens to some songs together with the second smallest one in the room.

You noticed there is some time to waste before the curfew starts. You glanced at your watch and it says...

９：００ ｐｍ

"Hey everybody, why don't we play spin the... uhh plushie" The plushie guy holds a cat stuffed-doll with a long tail. Everyone turns their attention to him.

"Uhh... sure why not" You replied. The others agreed because of boredom and soon you were now playing 'Spin the Plushie'.

After some questions here and there plus some dares here and there it all came down to this moment.

"Whoever is chosen gets to sleep on the couch!" the small black haired guy said out loud.

I looked around and there were two bunk beds and one couch. There were really insufficient number of beds in the cabin but there were surplus of mattresses, pillows and bed sheets. I glanced at my watch and it was...

９：５０ ｐｍ

"Okay guys this will be the last question because I'm very sleepy" Soobin said scratching his tired eyes.

The plushie guy spinned the doll and...

The cat's tail stopped and pointed at you. The others laughed along with your best friend Soobin while Yeonjun doesn't find this funny. You chuckled and looked at the time.

"Okay guys, we seriously need to sleep. Its curfew time" You ordered them to go to their beds immediately before the teacher checks up on your cabin. Soobin volunteered to sleep beside the plushie guy, because the plushie guy was okay with it, while everyone else takes the bed solo.

"Okay, lights out..." You said checking everyone's places one last time. You turned off the lights and you lied down on the couch hoping you won't catch a cold from sleeping there. A few moments after the curfew, you noticed some creaking sound that seems coming closer. The wooden floor makes it easier to detect if someone or something is coming closer. Since you were half asleep, you didn't notice that you were in someone's arms already. This guy laid you down on a comfy bed and something warm goes over your body. You didn't resist because it was only a blanket covering you. The person's face was unrecognizable because of the dark.

"Goodnight..." You heard a faint voice. With that, you began your deep slumber.
