He walked up to her to take his lady in arms.

Their routine. It has always been like this. Every dawn the smiles are to serve people, in their own ways. And as the dusk sets the comfort is found in each other's warm embrace, soothing words and light hearted gestures.
His love for her- unconditional. The hands that cured lot of hearts, healed her without applying medical knowledge. He never gave her a chance to yearn for his attention, his love. It was there and is going to be there, she knows.
Ten years later as I sit by her, head in her lap and smile. Her thinner getting skin I look closely at and just let my hand feel it. She pulls my cheek and places a warm kiss there.
I feel the tiredness, the effortless acting sessions are taking a toll on her. She looks happy but she isn't. The pain she's been hiding within her is showing. Though, soon, this will cease.

My eyes travel to the curtain that falls, becomes a veil for her and she steps back and bids adieu.
It's a wrap of her show.
I smile as she walks to me, kisses my forehead and gently walks inside her vanity.
Twenty minutes and she doesn't come out.
As my feet drags me forward, my heart prepares itself.
There she is on her chair. She hasn't took off the character's look but just her eyes are shut. As I reach and observe, a sigh escapes my lips.
Finally, the tired body is at peace. She took her last breath at the place that she worshipped.

Miles and miles away, he is smiling, I know.
She gave her best as expected. He is proud.
Also, his ten years and 82 days of wait is over. His wife, her soul is travelling to him to get healed and be at peace in the 'heavenly' abode.

Fifteen years of being with them.
Another ten years of being with only her.
And now, the memories they gave will be the guiding power till my last.
Why I smile is because the two lived for me, their child, Raunak and now, Rohit Sippy and Sonakshi Rastogi will for themselves, together.
