Chapter 15

[Kim Seohyun's POV]

Jungkook: I'll be back.

He got out from the pool, water droplets running down his skin, dripping down onto the floor as he runs his hand through his hair.

My eyes were glued on him until he disappears from my sight, me looking over to Eun Hae Yun who sat on the edge of the pool.

Eun Hae Yun: Kim Seohyun?

Kim Seohyun: Hmm?

Eun Hae Yun: Do you have, like, goggles with you?

Kim Seohyun: What do you think?

Eun Hae Yun: You...Have?

Her face brightens up.

Kim Seohyun: Of course is a no. then why didn't you bring yours?

Eun Hae Yun: I didn't know that we'll end up here.

Kim Seohyun: Exactly.

She pouts and suddenly stands up.

Eun Hae Yun: I'll go to the changing room for a sec. maybe there will have some goggles forgotten by their owners.

Kim Seohyun: Go ahead, then. Wish you luck.

Eun Hae Yun: And you, better careful.

She pointed her finger at me as I nodded my head with an assuring smile before I was left alone.

I leaned against the edge of the pool, bringing my hand up to my chest as I realised that the necklace Jungkook gave me was not there.

I dipped my head into the water, seeing a blurry sight of something laying on the bottom of the pool.

Maybe it fell off when we're playing.

I took a deep breath, diving myself into the water as I grabbed the necklace tight;y in my hand.

My head got painful and dizzy, a whole load of air escaping from my mouth as my body got very weak.

I couldn't move my body the way I want, my head spinning with a harsh pain stroking it, I knew I was running out of the breath as I tried to push myself up to the surface.

but the push wasn't enough as I sank back to the bottom of the pool more air escaping my mouth as more air bubbles were seen travelling up to the surface of the water.

A light sound of a scream was heard underwater, I was suffocating without air, my consciousness getting weaker and weaker every second.

Why is this happening to me...?

Stay awake Kim Seohyun, stay awake...!!

A grip was felt on my wrist as it pulled me towards a chest, an arm wrapping around my waist, immediately lifting my head over the water.

My head was hung low, my vision dark and blurry as I coughed out water from my mouth, gasping for air as I heard my name being called multiple time.

I felt I was lifted up from the water, a towel wrapping around me as a pair of arms holding me tightly.

I wasn't suffocating anymore, or dizzy and painful on the head as my vision slowly went back to normal, looking up to the person in front of me with my breathing still heavy.

Kim Seohyun: Jungkook...

As my eyes met him, he immediately pulls me into his chest, hugging me tightly as his palm was placed behind my head.

I lifted my gaze up to see Eun Hae Yun in tears with Jimin calming her down.

Eun Hae Yun: What were you doing?! I told you to be careful, Kim Seohyun!!
