DAICHI HAD EXPECTED SOMETHING seriously bad that had happened to their first year setter, Kageyama Tobio, to have gotten him to be acting strange for the past few days. There are some theories he and rest of the volleyball team had thought off. Some were logical and actually makes sense like the black haired first year had some family problems or that he wasn't doing well in school.

Actually, when was Tobio even been doing good at school to begin with? Everyone strictly remembered that he literally doesn't even have any double digits scores. Tobio was as smart as Hinata Shōyō and unfortunately, Shōyō wasn't that smart.

Anyways, in the other hand of the other side of the theories, some are very dumb and clearly irrational (thank Yū and Ryūnosuke along with Shōyō for that) like how maybe Tobio received a confession and that he is mulling over that about it since then, or that Tobio might have been threatened by someone more scary than him and he only has a few days to live. You can see who thought which but still, no one knew what is going on Tobio's life to make him suck at the sport he loved and adored so much.

Daichi and the other third years were about to discuss on how to approach this odd occurrence of Tobio not being focused on volleyball when that's probably the only thing running in that one single braincelled mind of his.

Daichi was in the middle of discussing plans with Sugawara Kōshi amd Azumane Asahi when Kegeyama Tobio had approached them with that dark intensed look plastered on his face and bowed like he apologized like he did something wrong. Well, Tobio did do something wrong and it was playing volleyball rather crappy for the past three days. But Daichi forgotten that fact for a second when Tobio looked back up to them with a determined look. Daichi was worried, if he had to be honest.

What is going on inside Tobio's mind?

The worry gotten more urgent as Daichi saw Tobio said he wanted to talk to them about something and then proceed to looked around like he was scared for someone other than them hear what he was about to say. And when Tobio was about to ask him, Kōshi and Asahi something important, Daichi was ready for anything.

You could imagine how shock Sawamura Daichi was when he saw his junior who usually have a (terrifying) resting bitch face with high confidence in his skill goes from that to a flustered, blushing mess who avoided his nor the other third years gazes as he muttered something that forever changed Daichi's thoughts on him.

"H... how do you know if... i-if you like someone...?"

Daichi never thought he'll ever see the day that the Kageyama Tobio, their resident genius setter, Mr. I-dont-care-about-anything-besides-volleyball-and-milk. Kageyama Tobio, their resident dumbass to anything with emotions and socializing— liking someone???
