Chapter 5

This is the best memory I have. When we were little. It was in first grade, the year when Kalehn transfer and became our friend. First his bestfriend are the twins, Montgomery and Dexter, then we became his friends and we expand our group of friends along with Chloe and Illea. All are doing well, we all have our good times may it be in rainy or sunny days. We became a pack.

Until that day came. Our accident that change everything. Because Kalehn cannot remember, he doesn't get along with the twins so they decided to give up on him. Illea and Chloe are like sisters but when Illea choose to be with Kalehn the two girls had their war.

If we could only turn back time.

In two and a half hour ride we reach the island. The house is giving us a majestic vibe. A wide black-and-white two-storey house. The windows are all glass panes. Ang harap ng bahay ay puno ng mga magagandang halaman at isang malaking fairy fountain sa gitna. At ilang metro lang ang layo ay makikita ang maputi at pinong buhangin na niraragasaan ng alon ng dagat. Sa likuran ng bahay ay matatagpuan ang pagkakatayog na mga puno at sabi ni Ash its an endless forest. At sabi niya tanging kalahati pa lang nito ang kanilang nae-explore. The helipad is just on the right side of the house.

"Come on. Let's go inside," Ash said.

At kaming lahat ay sumunod sa kanya. Upon opening we are welcomed by three of their maids.

"Welcome back Madame," the woman in the middle said and bowed for Ash. I suspect she's in her forty's.

"Ehehehe...no need to do that po. Wala naman sina dad," hiyang pagkakasabi ni Ash. "So guys, I will give you a tour of the house later but first I'll show you your rooms. Come." At sumunod kami sa kanya na umakyat ng hagdan. Pagkaakyat ng hagdan bumungad sa amin ang isang sculpture ng babaeng ayon sa plate sa baba ay si Aphrodite. Napatigil kaming lahat dahil sa sobrang pagkapulido ng pagkakagawa dito.

"Eh...this is Aphrodite as you can see. Made in France, my dad buy this in an auction." Ngunit kita ko sa mga mata ni Ash ang lungkot habang sinasabi niya ito. Mukhang there is a story behind. "Okay, so here on the right is the girls room. And on the left sa inyo boys. Wanna wait here boys while hinahatid ko sila?"

Illea raised her hand. "Can't me and Kalehn have our own room?"

Ash smirked and crossed her hands. "Do you think you're a princess? Huh?" Irita na si Ash.

"Oooohhhhh!" paamboy ng kambal. This is the first time I hear them speak since then. "Fight! Fight! Fight!" they shouted.

"Pwede ba tumahimik kayo..."

"Tama na Ill-" sambit ni Kalehn.

"...You piece of sh-" before she could even finish what she is saying Kalehn yelled at her.

"COULD YOU PLEASE STOP ILLEA?! Just for once?!" Lahat ay natahimik. At umalis na si Kalehn papunta sa kwarto ng boys. And the others also dispersed and go to their respected rooms.

Akos hold my arm and said, "He would be okay. I'll make sure of that. You rest first. I'll see you by the bonfire later I uh...have something to say, okay?"

I give him a warm smile. "Thank you Akos." And I hug him. Pero bakit ang bilis ng kabog ng dibdib namin? At ano yung sasabihin nya? Kaya umalis na ako sa pagkakayakap sa kanya. "You better go."

"Ah yes." And we parted ways.

By the time I came in the room they already pick their beds. Lumapit sakin si Ash and said, "Well I guess that bed what was left for you." She sighed. The bed is between Illea and Chloe.
