chapter 16

it had been a few weeks since we had arrived here at Dubai this is what our hotel room looked like it was amazing.

it was about 5 in the morning i had witnessed something very weird i had missed my period and had morning sickness not only this i craved so much food.

"hey babe how long has it been since we came here." i asked him shaking.

"about 2 weeks babe" he said looking concerned at my scared face.

" i have missed my period and i was sick this morning and i have been craving so much food." i say starting to cry a little

a few moments later i phoned katie

" h-hey umm do u think im pregnant because well i have been sick in the morning im craving food and i have missed my period also i look fatter.?"

"look just take a pregnancy test are you ok you sound so worried?" she questioned mysteriously

" ok and no im not im sooo scared katie but i will call later to tell u if i am."

i took the pregnancy test and left it for 3 mins beep beep the timer had gone of i was soo scared to look i stepped over to the test and slowly turned it around an read it it said 2 and positive i clasped my hands over my face and ran straight to elijah and threw my arms over his neck and kissed him

"what happened you look happy?" he asked with a huge smile on his face

"i'm pregnant babe and we are having twins i'm so happpy !!" i shout as i hug him even tighter.

" i cant believe we are having twins yesssss im so happy im gunna be a father" he says kissing me back

i hurried back to the room and phoned Katie

"hey im pregnant with twins" i shot down the phone.

" hey it Katies dad she isnt here anymore" i hear her dad cry down the phone

" what do u mean she isnt here anymore." i ask shaking hoping nothing happened to her

"im so sorry you have to find out this way but she is dead she got shot by her boyfriend turns out he was the one who killed all those people down in Masonville he shot her when she was walking to the his house to see him she never came home so i went to look for her and i found her lying out side his house with holes in her head and her back." he cried down the phone

"oh oh my god im going to kill that son of a-Elijah had cut me off he must off heard me crying and shouting down the phone

"babe this stress isnt good for the babies what happened why are you crying and shouting."

"Katie has been shot she is-is dead Tyler her boyfriend shot her after she got off the phone from me her dad picked up her phone when i rang." i cry hugging him while my mascara was running down my face.

after a few hours of crying in my room we had packed our stuff and set off back to New York.

it had been had a few days that we had been back at our house i had been so stressed being pregnant and my best friend dying i had forgot to eat and change my clothes i didnt come out of my room the whole time we had been back it had been getting on Elijahs nerves he didnt show it though but i could tell so i decided to come out and talk to him i was soo hungry the babies started to kick more often now.

katies funeral was tomorrow it was going to be held at the palace hotel.
