A couple hours later I had to back to my dorm because her roommate came back.
I was honestly dreading it. I didn't want to see Paytons stupid face ever again.
I just want to grab him and tie him up on train track-
Okay a little too far but still, he didn't have to say all those things. Shit now it's gonna be awkward when I go in. I don't want to ever talk to him ever again. Well that's a lie I do want to talk to him, considering the fact that I like him-
BROOKE HAZEL what the fuck were you about to say. Hell to the no. You can't like him; He has a girlfriend.
But I can't help myself.
Any way I make my way along the corridor slowly. I find my door and put my hand on the handle. I twist it and guess what it's not locked.
Typical. I roll my eyes and swung the door open. The lights were off and I decided not to turn them on.
I walk towards my bed and stumble over something making me fall with a big thud.
"Shit"
I breathed out. The lights turn on making me flinch.
"Oh my god where were you I was so worried"
Payton says while walking towards me.
"Don't come any closer"
I say.
"Please just let me-"
"NO"
He stops and glances at me. I get up on my feet and dust myself off.
"Just don't talk to me. Pretend I'm not here."
I say taking my shoes off and getting in bed because I was already in my pyjamas.
"Please let me explain. You misunderstood everything"
He says sitting down on the edge of my bed. Truth is i still liked him and to hear him talking about being with other girls hurts.
"What is there to misunderstand. The part that you rubbed her being better than me in my face or that you made me feel more insecure than I already am. You don't understand, you don't say stuff like that to people it's fucked up...so go ahead explain what I "misunderstood" I'm not stopping you"
There was a long pause not awkward, but not comfortable either.
He sighs and turns towards me.
"Look I can't tell you why I did but it had to be done"
I scoff and shake my head
"What possesses you to insult me, to come home late, drunk, with hoes. Huh. TELL ME THE TRUTH!"
I yell
"You wanna know the truth huh? Well guess what. I STILL LIKE YOU. I couldn't tell you because I'm scared you will reject me because of the past."
He also yells.
"Payt, the past is in the past (let it go, let it go) it doesn't define you as a person. And I like you too."
I whispered the last part. Suddenly I felt butterflies only to realize Payton had kissed me. In a swift motion he pulled me onto his lap so now I was straddling him.
He started kissing down my jaw.
"Wait. What are we"
I asked and he pulled away with a frown.
"Right now let's just be us"
He says. I smile and bring his lips back to mine to resume what we started.
Tonight is gonna be fun

Sorry it took so long to update I had some mental issues but I'm back now.
