Small flickers of light danced on my warm fingertips, moving on its own. Even bursts of warm winds didnt interrupt the feeling, the magic that was happening right in front of my eyes.
Long leaves and grass tickled my bare legs. River's call reached my ears. The flickering lights shot out of my hand, into the wide day sky, never to be seen again.
I walked towards the sound of living water without any hurry in my steps. It's calm, no worry. Even though there was so much left to do, I didn't waste a single second worrying about it. It was as if I was in a day dream, a daydream I'd never wake up from again.
My heart felt warm, I had been here before. Why can't I remember? There wasn't a soul in sight.
I squinted my eyes and a new sight greeted me. Hundreds of stalls littered around a small town. Bells chimed and wind caught a hold of all the red lanterns. There was no one.
Time seemed to pass faster than I had remembered. The sky gradually got darker and soon I realized, I was far from being alone.
