I decided to move to LA with my best friend, Rileigh. We came all the way from North Carolina. Which is all the way across the freaking country.
The trip here was what you call very "enjoyable". (Hint the sarcasm). We both packed our bags, and few personal items. When I was done packing I headed downstairs to my parents. I gave them a huge hug, and thanked them for helping me persue my passion. We all cried all little. Eve my father who was supposidly "tough as nails".
I started to head to the door, but I turned around. I ran to my dad and gave him the biggest bear hug I could manage. He returned it with is eyes just as watery as mine.
"I always knew you'd be something great." He said tears finally escaping, and running down his cheek.
"You were always my biggest fan."
With that I was off to meet Ri. We picked to meet at the McDonald's at the airport. My big brother Dustin wanted to take me. The car ride there was far from quiet. We sang with the radio, and told stories from when we were in elementry school.
When we arrived at the airport. Dustin and I hugged and wished each other luck. I met Ri and we headed towards the gate.
When we boarded thats when it truly started getting "enjoyable". We ordered the chocolate covered pretzels to share. Well, the flight attendant gave them to Ri. She ended up eating all of them. The whole freaking bag, gone. Down the hatchet! I didn't say anything.
I guess she was hungry.
We chatted about random stuff, and of coarse our favorite pop band. Why Don't We, an amazing band. Rileigh had been obsessing herself with the band member Jack Avery. He's a year older than her, and she thinks they're a match made in heaven. After a while, I got tired of hearing her ramble on about how hot Jack looks in Champion, and I drifted off to sleep.
She woke me up about ten minutes before we landed. We got off the plane, and headed towards the luggage pickup. I found our luggage and picked it up off the machine.
I turned around to hand her, her luggage, but she was gone. She was half way to the front entrance. I hauled me, the luggage, and my pride towards her. I finally reached her when she was outside.
We got a taxi and headed towards our destination. When we got there we were flabbergasted. Then we met a nice girl named Hayley, and now were at the present timing.
**PRESENT TIMING**
We both went seperate ways as we checked out our new home. Rileigh headed towards the kitchen, while I on the other hand, went to the living room.
After exploring the bigger areas, we still had the bedroom. We both gave each other a quick glance, and hauled ass to the bedroom. We were pushing, shouving, kicking, clawing, and even as far as biting. In the end I still won.
I did a little victory dance. "I won! Beat that!"
Rileigh hobbled in the room clutching her stomach and rubbing her head. "That's only because you pushed me into a side table."
"Well I still won." I said in a matter of factly tone.
She rolled her eyes in response. I playfully slapped her arm and giggled. But then we took in our bedroom.
"I call top!" she yells."I don't like the top bunk anyways", I shrugged and started unpacking.
We put our stuff up, and then decided to talk about our weekend plans. We were going to a Why Don't We concert. One of our dreams coming true. The other being move to LA. Thr third one was happening Monday morning.
Can't wait till Saturday. It's only a day and a half away. You can do it.
With that I drifted off to sleep.
