*trigger warning: talks about police brutality, shooting and whats going on in the world*

I gaspes as I drop my phone in shock. I put my hand over my mouth and start crying.

"Ah baby why are you crying? Whats wrong?" Tenya asks as he grabs my hands and holds them as he looks me in the eyes with concern in them.

"I- I just saw a video of someone shooting another man. And it shook me, and everything else. Seeing everything thats going on with police brutality" I say as I start to cry "seeing all this makes me hate the world we live in. Why can't we all just get along.. god I sound like a child when I say that" i cried into his arms

"Hey baby, don't worry about it. Im sorry you had to see that. Shh shh. It's okay. Im here for you" he says as we slowly slide down the wall as we hold each other. He holds my head with one hand while the other hand is running up and down my back. He kisses my forehead and whispers sweet nothings in my ear and tells me how much he loves me. I hugged him tighter as he squeezes me tighter as well.
"Y/n I love you so much I will always be here for you. I swear I will be here to show you that the world isn't that bad. I know you make it such a better place with your smile. Your kindness alone lights up the darkest places. Thank you babe" he tells me as our foreheads touch.
"C-can we cuddle in bed please?" I ask as we walk to our bedroom hand in hand.
"Of course baby" he says while opening the door.

We lay there listening to music, my head on his chest listening to his heart beat. I lay there feeling safe as he holds me tight. I don't want to leave. I want to stay like this forever.  I slowly drift off to sleep as I hear iida say "goodnight my princess, I love you"
