Cue the Confetti

Chapter 1

I'm Jenny. Today is the biggest day of my entire life...

Starting at a new school. 

I hope I can make a friend. That'd be nice. My birthday is coming up and... I want someone to be there. 

I have on a long-sleeved striped shirt with a light pink overall dress. Before running out of the door, I put a hair clip in my hair.

I got to my classroom and saw blonde girl whispering something to some other girls. The blonde girl was looking at me, so I walked over to her. "Uh, hi." I said. The blonde girl looked at me with a disgusted expression. "Don't talk to me, new girl." she said. My smile quickly turned into a frown. A girl with red hair walked up to me. "Leave her alone, Sarah." she said. The red-haired girl took my hand and led me to my desk. She sat down at the desk next to me. "Hi, I'm Millie." The girl said. "I'm Jenny." The teacher walked into the room.

"Hello, class!" The teacher said. "Hey Ms. V!" Millie said. The teacher smiled. "Jenny Hale, please come to the front of the room so you can introduce yourself." I walked up to the front of the room. The teacher, Ms. V, told me to introduce myself. "I'm Jenny Hale... I'm 12 but I will be 13 soon and I hope we can be friends!" I said. Ms. V smiled and told me I could go back to my seat. I headed back to my seat and it was soon time for lunch.
