In a world of superheroes and soulmates not everyone was treated with kindness, some people were treated as if they weren't even human. Todoroki wasn't treated well by his family more specifically he wasn't treated well by his dad. His mom was wonderful and caring but her husband was abusive to a point where she couldn't look at Todoroki without see him, he haunted her vision and she ended up in a hospital. One day Todoroki hopes to escape his father, he prays to find his soulmate and for his soulmate to show him the love he missed in his childhood. Todoroki hopes that his soulmate will be his knight in shining armor but he fears that his soulmate won't love him truly that he will be rejected, used, and/or abused. He isn't one to let his fear stop him he is will to risk anything to meet his soulmate for they might be the most important person in his life.
