Lucy and Liz were at Maureen's Night Club. As they walked up to the entrance, the bouncer unhooked the velvet rope for them to enter.
"Thanks, Benny," Lucy said loudly.
"Umm Lucy, I hope you know what you're doing this time. We don't want a repeat of what happened last week," cried Liz.
"Relax. I've got it under control. And my bra didn't even come all the way off that time."
Lucy was wild and daring. However, she's not familiar with "holding your liquor."
Liz pulled her to the side by her shoulder. "No, seriously. I'm going to need you to be on guard here. I know how you are."
Lucy shifted her weight of her left leg to the right as she crossed her arms.
"C'mon Lucy. Promise me you won't drink too much."
"WHATT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU THIS MUSIC IS TOO LOUD!" Lucy scurried across the dance floor to get to the bar. Shaking her head, Liz follows along to join her. They both plop down on the velvety cushioned seats.
"Hey, Bartender! Hit me with two shots of tequila! Oh and make it a double Hon!"
"Comin' up Lu" said a deep baritone voice under the loud music in the club.
They downed a few more drinks before they were tipsy enough to hit the dance floor. Lucy pulled Liz across the glass-like floor. They were dancing to the song To the Max by Yellow Claw. Lucy froze as she dropped Liz's arms.
"Jeez, who put this shit on? Shit is irritating."
"Oh my god Lucy this was your song in middle school!"
"Yes, and the middle school me is OBSOLETE"
Liz froze in confusion as her eyebrows lowered.
"Wha-"
"Jesus NEVER MIND. I'm too DRUNK to care anymore."
"Okay, well I'm going to the bathroom. Wanna come with?"
"No Liz. I'll wait here for ya. I need to check out if this club has any attractive people anyway."
Liz nodded and rolled her eyes and made her way to the bathroom and stumbled on her way to the door.
Lucy moves her eyes back and forth in the club trying to eye a person for her to snag. Lucy was just as beautiful as can be. She had the round face, pink soft lips, long eyelashes, however she still liked to put mascara on. A nice button nose, thin, yet full arched eyebrows and had a bob cut with dyed-red hair. She could just about go with anyone she wanted, yet she always had relationship problems.
Lucy walked into the crowd of possibly all drunk people. A hand made her way up to Lucy's shoulder. She quickly turned her head thinking it was Liz. Boy, was she wrong.
"Hey girlie," said a soothing voice coming from a womanly figure. She had curly hair, but it was put up into a messy bun. "Wanna have some fun?"
Lucy backed away quickly.
"Oh u-um hey! What's poppin?"
Lucy quickly grabbed her mouth in regret of what she said. "I'm so sorry-"
The mystery girl started laughing. Lucy blushed from embarrassment.
"Let's go." The girl motioned her head towards the exit as she grabbed Lucy's arm. Lucy followed the girl out the club.
"I hope Liz is okay," Lucy thought.
