[2] Seaside

Here we are at our usual place, 'seaside.' Even though the water here is very toxic due to Atomic Bombs planted here before, I've made tons of memories here- includes meeting my best friend for the first time.

I saw my best friend 'Reign' looking up at the sky. I thought to my self 'What's he daydreaming?' I slowly sat beside him and asked, "penny for your thoughts?" he didn't answer, so I asked him again, "dude, what are you daydreaming?" no answer.

So I pushed his back, and he fell, but unfortunately, he grabbed my arms, pulling me down with him. It was literally very dramatic. He caught me and hugged me tightly. It's very awkward, you know. We didn't move for like 15 seconds, then I noticed him moving his head closer to mine, so I did the same.

I thought to my self 'is this it?' 'really?' am I worthy for his kiss?'

UNFORTUNATELY, he just licked my cheeks and guffaw. I've been wanting this moment since aegis! And guess what? It's not gonna happen.

He helped me to get up and acted as nothing happened. It is pretty normal for us to do that thing, but it really made me think it's true every time he does. How I wish it was true...

After what happened, I asked him if he's to someone hoping that he'd say it's me. Then he showed me his lower right palm, and a hologram came out. I clapped because I was so amazed. Most of the time, I forget that he's a cyborg, so he's half bot since it was covered with a skin-like- plastic silicon layer to make his arm realistic and also waterproof.

He sighed, and I think I offended him by the looks of his face- his brows are furrowed. I turned to him and said, "I'm sowwy babi" in a cute voice. He laughed, then pat me and while kissing my temple. After that, he showed some pictures of a girl. I was shocked! Because it was me when I tried to drag!

He said, "I only saw her once, and I think it was Love at first sight." It made me feel like a glass shattered into a thousand pieces of debris.

Then the music of Taylor Swift came in my head titled 'You Belong With Me.'

We both stared again in the peaceful sky. The sound of the waves often makes me calm and pacific. I leaned my back against Babi, and he did the same. I do really like this kind of moment. Where it was only me and my one and only Babi in the whole world. I wish time stops so we can be like this forever.

Until I had thought again about confessing to Reign about my feelings to him. My heart beats faster, causing my breathing to accelerate. Reign noticed my heavy breathing, so he asked me if I was okay. "Yeah, I'm fine, just having some negative thoughts," I replied.

He asked, "May I know what that is?" I said, "Nah, it's just nonsense. Nothing to worry about." while giving him a forced smile.

It was so restoring to the point that I fell asleep.

When I woke up, I was in my bed. Sleeping beside me was the guy whom I fell in love with. I blew his ears, and he smiled. "Hey, wake up," I said.

"Hmmph" was all he said. "What time is it?" I asked.

"Iz time for yah to luh me back," he murmured. I didn't understand, so I asked him again, and he just showed me his right palm, and a hologram came out with a clock saying what the time was.

"Yow, we've slept for more than 12 hours?!?" I asked. "Hmmph," he said.

When I was about to stand up, he gripped my arm, pulling my body near his. "Let's sleep more. I want to sleep more Babiii."

"We've slept for more than half a day, and yet you're still sleepy? Babi, that's insane!" I respond.

He hugged me again and begged.

"No, Lemme prepares our breakfast," I told him. He then let me go.

I came back to my room with a bunch of food.

I wake him up again. "Guess what, Babi? I have foodies!"

He then sat at the speed of lightning and even clapped his hands. What is the thinkin' he was? A baby?...

Yeah, my one and only Baby.

After we ate our breakfast, he helped me with the house chores, especially washing the dishes. I lathered the dish wares while he was assigned to wash to get rid of the remaining soap.

After we did the house chores, I asked him if his dad was not looking for him since he did not go home last night.

"Don't you want me by your side? Okay, fine, I'll just go home then," he sulked. "It's not what I meant. Y-yes, I do need you. I'm sorry." I reason out.

"And if you step out of that door, there will be no Babi at all," I added in a demonic voice.

He ran to me and hugged both of my legs. "No, No Babi! I was just jokin'. You know that I will never leave you." he said in a frightened voice.

"Besides, I do have other friends. I can call Sophia and Alice Watson right now to replace you." I joked.

"I'll kill them if they will. I just want to be your only friend. I want to be your only comfort." he responded.

"You're not gonna kill them. And if ever you will, then let's call it quits." I counter.

He stands up, saying, "Okay, okay. Just don't be angry with me." ending his words with a pout.

"Just don't be angry with me. What are you? A baby?" I mocked.

After our conversation, I took a bath as I felt very stinky and sweaty. And as for Babi, he bathes after I was done.

After some time, Reign shouted, "Babi? I forgot to bring my towel, can you get it? It was on the sofa, please."
