"minnie?", taehyung called out softly, his entire hand clasped onto jeongguk's pointer finger, the ravenette leaning against the doorway as the older stared at the pink-haired omega uncertainly. "'m sorry. i-i didn't mean to snap..."
jimin sighed softly, a small smile overtaking his features in a split second before he stood up and bound over to the blonde, wrapping his slim arms around the younger's torso.
"i shouldn't have teased you", the pinkette murmured, swaying them a little. "but...you are forgiven."
the royal omega, however, still hadn't let go of his ravenette best friend's finger. it wasn't like the taller minded, he thought it was adorable and it reminded him of a baby in an odd little way. he smiled at the pair before gently prying them apart and wrapping his right arm around the blonde and pulling him back into his chest, giving the smaller a sort of back hug, which made the pinkette snort.
"we get it, jeon", jimin teased, wiggling his eyebrows. "he's yours."
"hm", was all the taller responded with, nuzzling his face into the royal omega's hair, making him chuckle.
"you're such a baby", the blonde commented, reaching his left hand back to ruffle the younger's hair.
"says the one who's holding onto my pointer finger with their entire hand", the alpha retorted, making the other three look down at their hands to notice the way taehyung was clasping onto jeongguk's finger.
"now that", jin said, smiling what jeongguk could only call his 'motherly smile'. "is absolutely adorable. i never knew you could be this baby tae."
"hmph", the blonde pouted, attempting to glare at the oldest but failing miserably, only succeeding in making the purple-haired coo at him.
jeongguk chuckled as he watched the older struggle between making an angry noise or giggling. the ravenette simply shook his head and gently patted tae's bum and pulled him closer, rubbing up and down the older's stomach with his veined hand.
"chill, bebs", the taller chuckled, kissing the top of his head. "you are a baby, face the facts."
"meanie", the blonde mumbled, though wrapping his arms around the alpha nevertheless and dragged him to the sofa, where they collapsed into a pile of tangled limbs and hysterical giggling.
the other three watched the pair with fond smiles on their faces before starting the movie back up once again, taking their seats from earlier, jin on an armchair and yoongi and jimin snuggled up together on the couch.
jeongguk slid his arm off of the omega on top of him before he moved it down to intertwine their fingers, the blonde smiling and blushing as he wrapped his slender, tan fingers around the younger's. he sighed, a little disappointed that the ravenette couldn't feel the tingles yet because he was underaged, but taehyung was okay with it. he only had to wait five more months before the younger's birthday and then he would know.
the only upsetting thing is you don't know who your mate is immediately. you usually have to ask an adult or a mated pair to be one hundred per cent sure. your wolf is still young and naïve and tended to scream 'mate' at every person who's scent was a little stronger or was more unique than the others around you.
taehyung himself had to ask namjoon how you could tell if someone was your mate because he had already mistaken both park bogum and choi minho as his mates, though he didn't act upon the mistake because he didn't want to put his mate bond under stress if his mate was older than him, that would put the other in a lot of pain.
however, the blonde had thought of the possibility of his mate being jeongguk, or someone younger than him. and when namjoon told him what you're supposed to feel and see when you find your mate confirmed his suspicions as he realised that the jeon jeongguk was now not only his best friend but his destined life partner for eternity.
he was ecstatic because he had hoped that the taller ravenette would be his mate. he had been in love with the younger for so many years and he had hoped that they would be mates ever since he was maybe five or six-years-old. he was scared when his wolf screamed that bogum is his mate and even more scared when it said that it was minho. no, he was fucking terrified.
he hadn't wanted and still didn't want anyone else to be his mate other than jeongguk. the younger was his rock, kept him rooted in place, stopped him from insanity. he always made him feel better and he was always there to comfort him. that was the main reason why taehyung fell in love with him, the fact that the younger was extremely hot was a plus.
jeongguk's left hand brushed the hem of his shirt before slipping under it to rest at his tummy, making the blonde squirm. the younger smirked before teasingly trailing his fingers down the centre of the omega's stomach and to his waistband, making the older's breath hitch.
for a moment, the ravenette thought, 'what the fuck am i doing?', but then decided that he was having fun teasing taehyung like this. he had never admitted it to anyone, but he wouldn't like to them if someone asked him if he was sexually attracted to the older, he would say yes.
the way taehyung's broad shoulders narrowed down to a slim waist before the widened once again into curved hips and a full, plump ass that jeongguk often wondered what would happen if he would just grab it... or maybe smack it. so he did, he finally grabbed it, which resulted in a muffled moan before the omega bit into the younger's collarbone.
"well, shit", the ravenette murmured, breath tickling taehyung's neck as his lips brushed the shell of his ear. "i didn't know you were this sensitive, peach."
